2024.12.01 02:30 Vegetable_Comment_36 Disconnected thoughts/brain fog, what might this mean?
I am a 19 y/o girl who has had a lengthy history with mental health. I have had several hospitalizations and have clinically diagnosed depression, anxiety, panic disorder, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD. With that being said, I don’t know what’s happening to me right now and can’t find much online. Don’t worry, I’m taking all the responses to this post with a grain of salt. My current therapist is out for two weeks so I’m kinda on my own here. Basically my thoughts are connecting, idrk how to explain it. It’s like I can’t process my life. Like I have work, school, and my family but none of it is fitting together or making sense. Like I have no image of myself or my life, only parts, when I try to think about it, my brain kinda shuts down. Like I’m in a million different universes, stuck between each one. I genuinely feel like I’m in Everything Everywhere All At Once. There has to be a reason for this??? My brain hurts when I try to think about it. I’m on zoloft 200mg which has helped me IMMENSELY and i’ve been on it for around 6-7 months, so I don’t think the medication is causing this. Let me know if this makes any sense at all, and what this might be from.

2024.12.01 02:30 Playful-Ease2278 Plug in to fix having to double click adrenaline games to open.
I am using Adrenaline with the Adrenaline bubble manager to play psp games from the home screen. When I open them and press start the game closes, then I press start again and the game opens. Its not a big deal but a bit annoying.
I learned a while ago there is a plug in to fix this. Does anyone know the name of it? Also feel free to let me know your recommended plug ins generally. Thanks!

2024.12.01 02:30 angry_sarcastic_poet POV: When you have a bad feeling about someone and people finally see it.
My friend group has been less than ideal ever since it formed, and I've been looking for ways to break it up for ages. Now I think I might actually succeed. My "friend" Amy yelled at both me and Stella (best friend) on separate occasions and now both Stella and I are pissed. Even Vanessa who has been closer to Amy these days told Sandy, who then told me, that Amy has been exceptionally rude these days.
I am so glad that Amy is finally showing her true colours. Stella right now, is still under Amy's spells and is too blind to leave her. Both me and Jade are fed up with Amy and have both formed an agreement that we will help each other get away from Amy, which I am extremely thankful for.
Right now, Vanessa (who Stella is at odds with) is often "taking Amy from us", which I am immensely grateful for. At lunch on Thursday, Vanessa and Amy left and Stella and I ate lunch with Jade and our other friend, Pearl. I'm so glad that Amy is FINALLY being mean to Stella. Though normally, I shouldn't be happy that someone's being a bitch to my best friend, but I am actually cheering inside my heart everytime Stella complains about another one of Amy's bullshits.
Honestly, Amy has been acting pretty bitchy to me for a long while and also taking advantage of Jade by telling her to do stuff for her (because Jade has language barriers and can't refuse or even object). Now that Stella is starting to see Amy for who she actually is, I am so glad and Stella might actually leave Amy and Vanessa out of the group. Though Vanessa didn't do anything bad towards me, she had done something horrible towards Stella so I won't be too sad if I have to leave her in order to get rid of Amy too.
I'm celebrating inside my head right now. YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

By embellish, I mean making your feelings sound deeper, stronger, or more poetic than they really are — saying “You’re the prettiest person I’ve ever seen” instead of “You’re so attractive,” or “I want to be with you forever” instead of “I think we have a good future together, short-term or long-term,” for example.
If I told someone I want to be with them forever, I’d feel like I’m lying because I can’t picture a relationship lasting forever, and there’s always the chance of things happening — us breaking up, seeing other people, etc. It feels like an empty promise. But neurotypicals who don’t struggle with metaphorical language or understanding feelings use these phrases all the time, without meaning them literally. It’s more about their own experience than what’s actually happening, and they don’t feel deceived. It’s more like pretend play than lying.
So, how can you tell if, when you’re hyping your partner up, you’re being sincere when you use figurative language?
