Since yall came through for me on the last post, heres a more advanced question as it has to do with one of the biggest controversies this year, shooting. Obviously big men play more of a popper role, set the screen and slide to the right left or corner. Given that we're not shooting off the dribble a whole lot, is the sweet spot for 3 point shooting 78 3 ball? I keep hearing about bigs shooting 54-56% from 3 with a 78 3 ans silver set shot. I shoot about 52% on a center with 83 3, 89 mid, gold set shot. Is all that a waste and 78 is the move or do we go for the higher 3 ball? I appreciate yall boys 🙏🏽

I’ve been in this sub for several weeks now, and it’s helped me realize (again) that I’m not the alone dealing with this issue. On and off, I’ve been trying to fight my addiction to porn with many relapses in between. My last relapse, I just stopped caring about fixing my issue and just quit instead of fixing it. After countless times of saying “yeah, I’ll just quit after this session,” the next morning or night, or the next time I got the itch, I would just delve back into porn, and I’ll be in this endless cycle of succumbing to my demons very easily. At this rate, I can’t blame anyone but myself for succumbing to these urges without much resistance, and I hate that.
It’s insane to me how easy it is to access pornography and hentai as well. Like, it’s in every social media app with little to no restrictions or a simple monthly subscription to someone’s you know what or taking it further and going to sketchy sites to see specific pornography, it’s lowkey disruptive behavior. It’s insane how far I would go and I’m genuinely disgusted with myself for some things I would watch and how easy I would fold when I get the urge. I’ve been in this game since I was young, and if a younger me could easily access porn, there should be more restrictions to this stuff, but there ain’t, and that makes me sad and angry. When my body started to get more mature, normal teen things, that’s where my addiction took effect. It’s crazy, man, and I don’t see anyone really fighting to change how easy it is to access pornography. And if you bring up that you have a porn addiction you get looked at differently, laughed at, and be told to “just turn on some settings on your web browsers and smartphones to fix your issue,” but they can easily be turned back off if I get the urge again and relapse.
I believe I’ve tried to fix my addiction 5 or 6 times now and the same result of going right back into the addiction to even more weird and specific porn tastes just ruined my mental and physical health and my perception of relationships has been completely tarnished thanks to it.
So, what’s changed this time around? For one, I’m 23 years old now. I started to reflect on myself and my goals in life and what I need to fix with myself to be a better person and be in a better mindset. Mid-last year, I lost my last job due to alcohol abuse, pornography, and restless nights because of my sessions making me basically lazy to go to work. To add insert to injury, I hurt a very close friend of mine after confronting them about what happened that night. They also know about my addiction, but hearing them say they’re disappointed and hurt because of my addiction, it hit a nerve in me, and deep down, I hated myself. I’ve grown tired of this cycle and want to change for myself and for my dear friend. I’ve had enough of this addiction, and I want to genuinely change this bad, unhealthy habit. Ever since I started my overnight job, I’ve been in a better mindset, and it’s got me feeling good about myself.
Proud to say I’m currently on my 4th day of sobriety, and although the withdrawals are bad, I’ve been substituting them and distracting myself with light exercises, continuing practicing my art, and if I get restless because of the withdrawals and itch I would slowly count to whatever big number and lull myself to sleep. I hope to achieve what I thought was the impossible, to be in a better and healthier version of me than what I was these last 5 to 6 years. I also want to try to help people in the same boat that I am in, to give you guys aid in your own endeavors and help combat this same problem. It’s difficult in this day and age where everywhere you go there’s porn or something reminds you of it and you get the itch. There’s not enough words that can express how hard you have to fight this addiction given the state of the internet and how easy it is to access porn. But stay strong and keep fighting the good fight. You’re tough and resilient to fight this evil.

So I have never bought an audi before. I've seen mixed reviews. It seems to be a love it or hate it kinda car. Currently I'm on the fence between the 2018 Audi Q7 3.0T prestige quattro(as-is) @ 70k miles OR a 2023 Q5 S-Line premium plus quattro (cert pre-owned) @51k miles.
From what I gather it's a trade-off between speed(q5) and space (q7) both have similar features. The Q7 is obviously nicer with a 3rd row setting and the HUD on your windshield. But it's just my wife and I and we usually just go to work, home and grocery shop. The yoosh... Occasionally, we will do a road trip which consist of a 5 hour drive one way. I'm 6'3 and looking for enough elbow space and comfort with the occasional back seat passenger. And it's ridiculous but the cup holders being up and down vs parallel is huge. What I'm curious about is the maintenance cost that intimidating to not want to buy it? Do they need frequent oil changes vs traditional 3k miles/3 months? Even though it says unleaded 85 should we use premium gas? We are going for a test drive tomorrow. What are some things to look for?
Am I over analyzing and this car is amazing and I have nothing to worry about? Or I should get my pocketbook ready?
P.s. I plan on following a strict maintance on it, as much as I can.
