My flatmates have lived in our current flat for about 5 years and Iāve lived here for about 2 yearsbut are ending our tenancy in a weeks time.
Iām not entirely sure how the house is still standing - weāve had numerous issues, some of which have gone unaddressed.
Written into our agreement is a clause stating that we must shampoo clean our carpets and if they are deemed not reasonably clean and tidy we must arrange to get them commercially cleaned.
To my knowledge, they cannot legally enforce this.
However, the issue comes in with a stain I caused on the carpet. Pretty hefty and I reckon would be considered damage/not reasonably clean and tidy.
Can I somehow request cleaning of just that individual stain?
Is it best to ask for a receipt?
I have no clue what the best way to go about this is, so any advice is appreciated.
I plan on shampoo cleaning the carpets soon even though we donāt need to - but I know thereās no chance of me removing that stain myself.
How do I go about dealing with this situation as I know they will try and tell us to get everything commercially cleaned/try and get the most money out of us. But I will not be getting the whole house cleaned when this one stain is the issue.
Iāve tried to keep and document all maintenance issues if they try and withhold my bond, though itās quite difficult as Iāve joined the flat quite late and past flatmates havenāt kept record of the landlords past wrong-doings.

My mom was raped and was not mentally capable of parenting me since I was 5.

Me and my friend maks always joke about how crazy this girl is because ever since 7th grade (I am now an adult with my own place) she has refused to stop contacting me and writing evil novels about me on a daily basis.
