My husband and I like to take a trip every June for our anniversary and I’m looking for some ideas! We want to do something a little bit smaller this year compared to years passed. Last year we went to Sardinia and the year before Croatia. We are not all inclusive resort type people but I’m not ruling it out.
Ideally:
- no more than 6 hour flight from Chicago
- would like it to be warm (at least in the upper 70s) and ideally have a beach or lake to swim in
- lodging for $400/night or less

When I first step on the petal it goes straight to the floor with almost no resistance, but then when I apply the brake a second it works. 2025.01.29 21:32 HoldMyMedusa I've come to find out I look terrible when I don't deep sleep
 | I got my watch pretty recently and I'm starting to understand just how much my sleep habits affect me negatively. I used to get confused how I could sleep a full 7-9 hours and wake up disoriented and with full blown eye bags. I was supposed to be asleep by 11pm last night but I was having a lot of fun playing Overwatch with my friends and ended up awake until 4:30am. I valued the time I spent bonding with people, so I'm going to have to be more careful to take care of myself as often as I can so I can get away with the occasional late night sessions. I hope this is the correct sub to post to …
I had been using Trust Wallet and liquidating small amounts of crypto for the last few months through Ramp as it had the lowest fees of the few integrated sellers in Trust Wallet (the other was usually MoonPay).
However, I suddenly got my Ramp account blocked after I tried to withdraw using a BNZ debit card (I had been successfully withdrawing with an ASB debit card previously, but I blocked it after I lost it). The transaction also failed - the crypto is still gone but Ramp says it’ll take ten business days to be refunded.
Ramp won’t tell me the reason why my account got blocked. Perhaps it is because BNZ refused the payment and that red flagged me for some reason? Perhaps because my other card got blocked it failed?
I’ll probably never know the exact reason, but just wondering what relatively easy Wallet and exchange combination you all can recommend that is NZ bank friendly and has low exchange fees? Perhaps I been paying a premium for the convenience of integration (I.e. Trust Wallet with Ramp)? Can I just set up an account with an exchange and transfer the crypto there manually? If so, what’s a good one you can recommend?

How do you juggle interviews that are in various stages? Obviously I’ve learned- don’t turn down any interview until you’re in your new role.
But let’s say, you are interviewing at Company A, and you’re in the final round with a hiring decision being made next week, then Company D calls you to schedule an interview, and it would be your top choice out of the 4 places you’re currently interviewing at- but you know it will probably be at least a month to complete all rounds with them.
Do you just take the first job you’re offered? What if you get hired at your top choice like a week later (I know, maybe I’m delusional)- how do you resign so quickly? Do you just tell people up front that you need more time to make a decision? I feel like if you take longer than 1-2 days, they’d likely move on.

Hello, I just have a question. I currently own a 2022 Civic Touring, and for some reason only during the morning the screen remains frozen, the music (from the radio) plays but the buttons on the digital screen do not work, pretty much the appearance of a frozen screen, does anyone know of a potential way to reboot the screen or the reason why this happens?

Just started playing recently so I am on my first playthru. I just got the bridge fixed up. I’ve been top workshop and been doing my 3 commissions a day since mid summer. I hadn’t failed any quest or commissions. I was super happy with my perfect record. And then it happened… I was finished with the bridge finally and had a few days where I focused on side quests, commissions, etc (had the crush scene with Unsuur 😭). Cooper asked me to do weeds. I had done it two times before and everytime I already had what I needed and finished the quest instantly. This time I didn’t so I went to weed and thought everything was fine. That was on autumn 20th which was my last save/auto save. Then I checked my completed missions to make sure I was still successful on them all. Then I saw the red mark for Cooper’s quest. I thought about going back to my last save but I told myself cooper isn’t work that time or energy. Ugh still mad tho
