I have a 7800x3D on an MSI Pro B650-S wifi and it works fine, I have no problems etc. But the website says that this board has PCI 4 for the CPU and in theory the 7800x3d is a PCI 5 processor according to its specifications? Am I using the processor at a lower performance than I could or does it really matter? I'm attaching photos in case I explained myself badly. My motherboard Maybe this works better? Says PCI 5 Would it be a good option to buy the MSI Pro X870-P WIFI? Or will it not affect performance? Obviously not, since a few people have. But for me I just don't see how I'm going to get there.
I currently have 14 trophies and I'm around 30h in. The weird thing is, the more progress I make, the more daunting and impossible the plat seems. I've never felt like this for any other game before.
I've watched so many videos and I just cannot seem to consistently get wins not matter what I try. And to be honest, I'm convinced at this point that it's really more rng than strategy and I just simple don't have ample amount of free time for the rng to work in my favor.
Not sure what I need from this post. I think it's just to vent/rant haha.

I am in the Los Angeles Area which is currently experiencing wildfires of an unprecedented nature and am trying to make my own version of fire-blocking gel similar to Barricade Gel which is not currently available: https://firegel.com.
Here are two relevant US Patents: https://patents.google.com/patent/US6245252B1/en and https://patents.google.com/patent/US20070001156A1/en.
I have bulk sodium polyacrylate (sold as a paint hardener). It seems one could make a water-in-oil emulsion using vegetable oil, an emulsifier (maybe lecithin?), and partially hydrated sodium polyacrylate in an a proportion that gives a viscosity that can flow through an educator nozzle (such as the one I already have from Barricade for garden hose). The gel should also be able to stick to vertical and inverted and horizontal surfaces such as eaves of a building. I am not sure if an additional chemical additive is needed to induce cross-linking of the polymers (hopefully non-covalent cross-linking so as to make removal easier) or to encourage adhesion. Alright fellas, I'm seeking some advice to help me navigate through my quarter life crisis, I'm set on infantry.
I'm 27 years old, have a good job as a diesel technician that I don't mind sticking with and I still can't decide if I want to do active or reserve. Some things about me: I'm an Eagle Scout, I'm in decent shape and I regularly exercise, I've always wanted to join the military but only now feel like I have the discipline and mindset to achieve this goal.
On one hand, I make good money at my current job and I'd be making a lot more by time my 5 years runs out and I can go back to the civilian world. Also my mom has cancer, nothing drastic, she's in good health currently but it's still something keeping me at home.
On the other hand, I understand that the Marines have an "all or nothing" mentality and the reserves almost seem to defeat the point of the Marines in general, different perspective is welcome here. There lies my hangup with going active or reserves. In addition to travel, life experience and the benefits I'd be missing out on in reserves.
I'm intrested in the Marines because I enjoy a challenge, I want the training of infantry and I want to be able to call myself a Marine but I don't feel like I'll have earned the right to call myself a Marine unless I go active, again, different perspective is welcome. Aside from those ego related reasons, I obviously want to serve my country and be ready to go if the need arises.
I know the responsible thing to do for myself is to stay home, spend time with mom and advance in my career. But hey, quarter life crisis going on, judgement gets cloudy. Which is why I want to reach out to y'all and see what advice this community has to offer.
