🙏😭I am planning to apply bachelor of culinology program at Taylor’s University for the 2025 April Intake. But suddenly due to the shortage of seats, the admission for the April is closed and even not sure for the September Intake 2025. I have been waiting for this since November 2024. Now I don’t know what to do. I am completely lost. What should I do? I found that UCSI, Management and Science University has a food science program but I saw so many negative reviews about those universities like Taylor’s on Reddit.
1. Are there any students, alumni from UCSI, MSU? How is your opinion about the university? 2. If so, should I join those universities as I am an international student and don’t have any choice. 3. my girlfriend reese (25f) and i (25f) have been together 8 months. she is going through an extremely stressful situation at her job, involving lawsuits, having meetings with our state government officials, the whole thing. her job is in the field she has a master’s degree in, and i never went to any college. i try to be as supportive as i can, but the entire thing is way above my head and i can’t make sense of most of it.
she has been beyond stressed, so i try to be mindful with what i say and do. for example, i complain about my job a lot, nothing serious, mostly just coworker drama. ever since reese’s situation at work, i haven’t been complaining as much because i know my work problems are nowhere near as severe as hers. i typically am the more emotional one, but i’ve refrained from sharing as much of my emotions and constantly looking to her for support. i was also recently diagnosed with a disability, it doesn’t prevent me from doing everyday tasks but i sometimes need a little more help with those tasks than others, and reese has been SO helpful, no doubt about it. but lately i have tried to not ask for help unless i really feel i need to. she has not made me feel obligated to do any of this.
this has all been fine with me because i know this is a unique situation right now and relationships aren’t always 50/50. there are good days and bad, and reese has been here to give that 70% on days when i’ve only had 30% to give. but because of her current work circumstances, the last couple of weeks she understandably hasn’t been able to reach that 50%. she’s been apologetic and self aware, i’ve been understanding, and we’ve been navigating it together.
but today after her work meeting, it became apparent her team/workplace is far from a conclusion and that this will be ongoing for the foreseeable future. things won’t be 50/50 for awhile, and i can accept that, but i can’t refrain from sharing my feelings or asking for help forever. so i’m coming here now, before any resentment or feeling neglected even begins, to ask how to navigate something like this, where i know the majority of her mental energy will continue to go towards her work and she will continue living with all time stress levels. how can we make sure we are both getting the support we need without taking it away from the other? we haven’t been together long, so this is our first time dealing with anything like this. i don’t want this to come between us.

I have a r5 5600 and a rx 6600 (ik the bottlenecks not great) I haven't been able to open the game once because the games crashes after I click play in the launcher. I've done all the "optimizations" that everyone says like compatibility mode and always open in administrative. I've heard that it could be a vram issue but I have no clue how to fix it. any ideas?

I just feel like I've lost so much passion for art over the years man I've been drawing ever since I first figured out that I can grab a pencil and draw shit on a paper and I can remember being able to draw so freely without thinking much and I literally drew just to make things im imagining in my head come true and I was able to make some detailed art man like for a 5, 7 year old its fucking impressive
But now I just feel like im on the edge of giving up like over the years my creativity got fucked up so badly I genuinely cannot draw anything without a reference anymore and that frustrates me so fucking much because I know how good it feels to just draw what you wanna draw, I loved making up stupid original characters and character designing without worrying about if im getting my anatomy right, if the perspective makes sense, other bullshit
And I know me thinking way too much about drawing is the problem and I gotta stop treating drawing like a mission but it's lwk really hard not to care about those stuff because if i draw something with my brain turned off and by the time when I turn it back on again, I see all my mistakes and I just feel stupid and get mad cus my drawing sucks ass
I just wanna figure out how to revive my creativity and regain my general passion for art again because I really do want to be a tattoo artist in the future and tattoo my designs onto people's body or maybe if im smart enough with technology get into rockstar or some shit n start character designing
I have other art stuff that I want to try out if I ever actually quit drawing like photography, sculptures, painting figures, doll making, music maybe but idk if im too braindead to learn instruments but drawing is something that ive been doing my whole life and a lot of my family members have passion for art so I want to be an artist like them and create interesting stuff
I just really don't want to lose my passion for art it genuinely might make me jump in a river if I ever lose it
Also I was high the entire time writing this so dont take this too seriously im literally js ranting

An offer letter was received and signed. Am scheduled to start in a little over a week. Deloitte called and verified my current employment but I just got an email saying the current employment is under review by Deloitte security.
I am supposed to book travel for orientation but I also received an email saying my start date may be pushed back. I am freaking out and don’t know what to do or why it is under review.
They said to book travel in the next 24-48 hours but a potential push back on the start date seems to conflict with that directive.
Any thoughts on what to do or what to expect?

I've been simracing exclusively in VR (AC, AMS2 and eventually AC EVO when VR is stable) with a decent performance, but with the new 50xx series cards coming out, I've been thinking about possible upgrades to improve the experience.
I was thinking of possibly getting a 5070 Ti or a 5080.

Would only a GPU upgrade make any sense? Or would it be pointless and I should also upgrade CPU and other parts as well?
