2025.01.18 13:02 aproberts Upping Meds and Work Issues
I really just need to rant to people who understand.
I was doing ok. I take clomipramene and my dosage was lowered down from the max and I was able to work part-time.
I got a full-time job thinking I could do itm unfortunately my OCD is getting in the way. It takes me longer to complete tasks because of my compulsions.
Even though I am not as fast as my coworkers I thought I was doing well. My boss thinks differently and basically told me to do better.
I started to spiral to the point of being physically sick.
I see my doctor. He suggests upping my meds back to maximum. But if I do that, it will slow me down even more.
So doctor is suggesting I may need to go back on disability. Which I don't want to do because I worked so hard to get off disability.
And now I'm at home, should be sleeping but I'm stuck in a rumination spiral and it sucks.
Anyway, that's my little rant. Thank you for taking the time to read. I hope everyone has an amazing day.

I've been driving my car for a few years now and not had serious problems with it although I haven't used it daily.
Recently I started driving it every day for really short distances and got my first "diesel filter" warning on the dashboard. I cleared it on the highway and noticed the car runs much better in sports mode, and at higher speeds which I already could tell.
It's automatic transmission and it's really annoying how it switches gears at 2000 rpm and will stay at around 1300 once the gear is switched.
I don't want to stop using it for short distances because that's what I need it for mostly plus I can drive it more over the weekend but I don't have time to go on long drives every weekend.
I love this car and can't is afford to get a new one. If anyone's had experience with how to not kill a diesel engine, I'd love to hear from you please.🙏

So in future updates I would suspect the skill books would become fairly easier to obtain and if that is the case I'm curious who would be the "optimized" pick for them.
As I was looking through the Paldeck incineram really stood out to me.
So off rip it's part dark type meaning it has intrinsic nocturnal.
For the newer players starting out, dark type pals can work through the night and is a reason why they're valuable as base pals.
Now for logic behind this.
For it's default work suitabilities
Lvl 1 Kindling
Lvl 2 Handiwork
Lvl 1 Mining
Lvl 2 transport.
Now obviously it's atrocious at everything.
Even at max condense
Lvl 2 Kindling
Lvl 3 handiwork
Lvl 2 mining
Lvl 3 transport
So what makes it potentially the best?
The fact it can reach T5 in all of these categories with skillbooks.
In fact it's the only pal that can.
Being a smallish pal roughly the same size as anubis it won't get stuck in your base easily (like astegon & jormy)
Speaking of Astegon & Jormy w/ T5 mining & Kindling it can easily replace both of them.
It replaces Astegon because being dark means it will work through the night.
Jormy was the default t5 because it was simple to get to.
It can replace or assist anubis since it also has handling.
In terms of operation
If it's done mining it can be set to transport Kindling, handling ect.
All of which are the most needed in a base.
Also a massive increase in breeding production.
Why?
It's much easier to breed the popular passives onto one pal then roughly 5-10 others.
Now this doesn't take into animation speeds but I think its utility makes up for it.
Let me know what you guys think.

Ok, I haven't done this but I have reached the age (50 ISH) where I have to get up in the night to relive myself. The last few nights when I have been camping (last night being one of them) I have had a terrible night's sleep due to waking up numerous amounts of times needing a pee. During the summer it's fine but this time of year it's almost impossible for me to get ot in zero degrees, my mind and body just won't let me do it. So, what do I do? Now I have tried not to drink a couple of hours before bed. This improves the situation but doesn't get rid of it. Now I am thinking some sort of recepticle? Is there a device where I can pee in my sleeping bag drip free? Anyone done this? Or do I actually have to start getting up and leaving the warmth of my bag.
