Hi girls, I've suffered from the acne scar several years, and finally I went to the clinic and have had 2 sessions of microneedling. The second just finished half an hour. To be honest, after the first session, the imporvememt is just ‘I feel like it's much better’. If I compared with photo B/A scars one by one, I can see several tiny ones are much shallower, but for the big and obvious ones there's not differences. Is this same with your situation?
I also saw some video on yt that you can do it at home, anyway it's much more affordable. But then this leads to my another concerning, like how can I know the HA product I chose is fit the demand for microneedling? Also tried to find out the product they used for me on website but failed... Or you have some effective product you've used? Pleaaaaase tell me! Thank you all!

Hello everyone I had my inguinal hernia surgery open with mesh done on 22nd October 2024.
Since then recovery has been a breeze. After 3 weeks I did not even feel like I had a surgery done.
But on 17th December 2024 I had a sneezing fit (sneezed 6 times in a row) and that caused discomfort near my surgery site and right testicle pain. I got a CT Scan done and everything was normal there. Everything was good for a 25 days or so.
Now on 18th Jan i feel sore and something poking sensation again. I had traveled through a bumpy road on 12th January I also masturbated for 4 days straight so I'm worried can it cause hernia reoccurence?
Also can I get and ultrasound done because they ask you to cough while doing an ultrasound. Can that coughing cause repair to fail? I'm really worried.
I want to get it checked out but I'm also worried while getting it checked out due to coughing I may cause a reoccurene.
Please someone help me.
Has anyone had ultrasound done post surgery?

I have not been able to find any catalogs from that production year, so I am mostly just going off of some blog posts people have made and whatever models I can find available for sale online. Many sources online say that this watch came in only two variants—a steel case and a gold-plated case—each of which have different dials. The steel version is often called the J13043, while the gold-plated version is often referred to by reference number 85899 despite the fact that in 1964 both watches’ case backs display the number 85899. I use it for Indian cuisine.
I recently bought a brand-new Hawkins pressure cooker, and it worked perfectly fine for the first 10 days. However, after that, it stopped sealing properly, and I noticed a gap in the seal.
I tried putting the rubber seal in the freezer for 2 days, and the next time I cooked with it, the seal worked again. Thinking I’d found a solution, I immediately put the seal back in the freezer after cooking. But 2 days later, when I used the cooker again, the same problem came up—no proper seal.
I should mention that sometimes, I cook in the pressure cooker and store the whole thing in the fridge for a few days with the seal still attached to the lid.
Is this normal? Do I need to replace the rubber seal every 10 days, or am I doing something wrong here? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

After 4ish years of some teir1 but mostly teir2 corporate work, I got let go and ended up with a different job. Ever since college (BS in IT) I have struggled to enjoy corporate work. My last job was cubicles with no windows and bright lights / white walls.
This new job is k12. I'm the only tech at a public charter highschool. I inherited a mess and I'm so overwhelmed. I'm technically a tech director with no team and my job really should split between 2-3 people. Also I don't get paid anymore then I did as a teir2 tech and my responsibility and stress is much higher. However other teammates from my last job are still looking for work. It's tough out there, so in a way I count myself lucky. It also is a good job is learn, since Im basically learning on the fly.
Even if the job is chaotic, I find more meaning in it then a windowless corporate space. I feel like I am truly supporting something beyond myself.
However now I understand that complaints and warnings people have in this space. Underpaid and overstressed. I always dreamed of the idea of working for a nonprofit, but then the idea of being the only person supporting a office and not being paid very well compared to corporate work is unsettling.
However even corporate jobs can demand overtime and on call work.
I'm considering what's next. If the job doesn't am currently at paid more, Id consider staying for a couple years. However, my goal is to get the place in a better spot, finish my CCNA, and find a better paying job. Staying at this wage long-term will not be ideal for my wife and I's plans for starting a family, owning a home, and doing some traveling.
So I'm torn. Go back to corporate world or take advantage of where I am now and try to stay in education, nonprofit, or local government.
Maybe a college would be a good place to work? Or maybe if I be patient a government job will actually get back with me. Or maybe other k12 jobs pay better?
My income goal long-term would be $80-100k. I make $55k now and know my next job won't get me there, but I am hoping for a 10-20k increase in pay.
I hit points where I consider just bailing back into that corporate world, but I am getting a taste of a different kind of work and it's hard to jump back to the very cut throat world of corporate life.
Any thoughts on my rambling? Any career advice?

Hello,
Around 2 months ago, I had a terrible experience with weed with a full blown panic attack and kept seeing loads of random pictures in my mind. I am 19 years old and understand that my brain is particularly sensitive to trauma as it is still developing. After, I felt very dissociated but that has sort of gone away but I feel like my short term memory and just general processing power has reduced significantly which is not ideal. I haven't smoked since, apart from a couple days later where I had a similar reaction because it doesn't normally happen. I was never addicted to marijuana and only smoked it a few times before. That being said I have been extremely anxious that I'm not recovering and was wondering if my brain can still recover even though surely the cannabis has left my system? I feel deep down l've permanently damaged my pre-frontal cortex and hippocampus, like the basic fast memory retrieval system used when reading for basic comprehension has just been significantly reduced, and I know you can't fix neurological damage like this since it is not physical trauma perse. Also my working memory just seems awful with no signs of improvement. I understand you may think it's brought up some underlying anxiety but I truly don't believe it is that. I'm in an extremely high pressure degree as well and was handling it so fine before then. I wasn't anxious for the first month but when I noticed I wasn't recovering it's just started the cycle of anxiety.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

So this came up over Xmas when my MIL was visiting. Turns out she always brushes her teeth in the kitchen sink. I found it very odd. My partner (her son) keeps his toothbrush in the bedroom rather than bathroom, which is fair enough, I get the concept as a hygiene thing. But for me, toothbrushing is personal hygiene and therefore belongs only in the bathroom.
Partner has said since his mum was up that he'll brush his teeth in the kitchen while I'm in the shower and my immediate reaction was "Ew, no, don't do that, I'll wait!"
I'm not sure why it feels so gross to me though. Is this something people do? Why is/isn't it gross?

Hi All,
I’m 48hours in on Week One and really feeling 1) suppression and 2) fullness a long time after a meal which of course is the intended result!
I had planned a nice balanced lunch for my family, but I don’t think I can face eating again since I’m feeling so full from my one slice of brown bread and two scrambled eggs for breakfast, 5 hours ago now.
Like many I’ve battled for a long time (circa 25 years) and food had been there for me through all the times - happy, sad, highs, lows. But I’ve lost and gained the same weight over and over and over again and as I turn 40 later this year I feel like enough is enough!
But despite choosing this, I’m feeling sad today. It’s like I am missing eating and I can’t quite ‘fill’ the gap. Of course years of my behaviours can’t be fixed in 48 hours, but I wanted to share as I am sure others have felt the same and may be feeling the same right now.
