how would you interpret the stats here for ETH? should be simple for you when comparing to other tickers on the same report: ETH does not represent the best instrument to trade the ICT opening retracement report.
if you’ve been losing money trading ETH & using the ICT opening retracement setup, here’s your sign to switch tickers (BTC is a great one based on the stats above).
yet another clear example as to how edgeful can be an invaluable analytical tool for your trading.
building your ict opening retracement trading planso, how can you start using this data to find high-probability trades? here's a simple framework:

identify the midnight open level for your market
determine if price is opening above or below that level
if price opens above, watch for short setups with the midnight open as your target
if price opens below, watch for long setups with the midnight open as your target
use the weekday data to further refine your bias and target selection OR check the “by size” report variant

and to be clear:
when trading the ICT opening retracement report, look for probabilities > 60%. filter by weekday and by size to ensure those probabilities are even higher (near 70% or even 80%, as we saw above).
avoid anything near 50%,
some real world examples: in all of the examples below, this is what you’re going to see (thanks to our TradingView indicators):

midnight open is plotted automatically as blue horizontal line
the New York session is outlined in a blue box

and then I’ve gone ahead and marked clear arrows on the chart where you should be focusing your attention. here we go:ES example from 1/13/2025:

as we know with ES, on an open below the midnight open, ES retraces back upwards 69% of the time. in the example above, this is exactly what we see (and price actually goes on to trade much higher by the end of the session)

entering the trade is dependent on which system you trade, but a clear level to take profits would have been this midnight open area.
BTC example from 1/12/2024:

as we know with BTCUSD, on an open above the midnight open, BTC retraces back downwards 63% of the time. in the example above, this is exactly what happened, with a clear short on a trendline break with targets at the midnight open working perfectly.

ETH example from 11/29/2024:

we’re not going for home runs in these examples, but it should be clear how simple technical setups work well when you have a plan in place (your stop loss and take profit orders, specifically).
as you can see, when applied to certain tickers, the ICT midnight retrace can be a profitable strategy for you. the key is knowing which tickers and instruments are worth trading vs. which ones aren’t (easily done with edgeful).

At my core, I believe reason and virtue are the best tools we have for navigating life’s challenges—whether they’re personal or societal. I’m all about respecting human dignity and think societies should be built in a way that helps people thrive. That means balancing individual freedom with making sure everyone has access to essentials like education, healthcare, and economic stability. Freedom doesn’t mean much if people don’t have the resources to actually use it. Markets are great at creating wealth, but they need boundaries to ensure they serve people, not the other way around.
One of my biggest beliefs is that we need to widen our circle of moral concern—not just for other humans but for sentient animals too. If something can suffer, it deserves ethical consideration. This doesn’t mean treating everyone or everything the same, but it does mean acknowledging their capacity for pain and pleasure and factoring that into how we treat them.
I’m also a big believer in dealing with reality as it is, not how we wish it were. This applies to personal struggles and massive issues like climate change. We need to look at problems with clear eyes but also keep the emotional strength to act instead of giving up. Focusing on what we can control while accepting what we can’t is the way forward, at least in my book

Media was obviously biased towards karan but it was honestly because of the impact he created. The whole house targeted and everyone started backbitching about so everyone had a soft corner for him. But I think the media was not paid by Karans PR team because his own PR team doesn't post vote appeals on time and you want me to believe this guy can purchase media?? And i doubt this guy has that much money to buy the media 😭 . But I do think the media were fan of karan. If the media were paid, they would definitely not raise karans divorce issue which had no relevance to show at all.

Hey all, I was a longtime electric guitarist (10+ years, mostly church background) getting into bass after a 5 year break from playing music. I am looking for advice on balancing practice/progression with life commitments and getting back into playing with others.

Squier P-Bass
Ampeg amp (band-ready volume)

Progress so far:

Working on fundamentals and easier songs like:

- Talking Heads - Psycho Killer, And She Was
- David Bowie - Criminal World, Rebel Rebel
- Jackson 5 - I Want You Back (in progress)

The Challenge: My schedule is pretty packed:

IT career (studying for CCNA, early morning study sessions)
Recently married (prioritizing time with spouse)
Regular household responsibilities and exhaustion from a stressful job.
