Okay guys, I need your help. I've always made music in the box, but I'd like a hybrid setup where I can easily work outside my PC environment. I want to create this environment around the Akai MPC Key 61 and the Tascam Model 16. I'm looking for a few affordable external synths like the Behringer Edge, Crave, and Spice, and most of their other desktop synths; they're affordable, and I'm looking to have fun but also be serious enough that I could put out a record if I wanted to. I want my MPC Key 61 to be the brain, controlling everything else, and I want everything to run through the Tascam Model 16. What am I missing? If you have better options, let me know; I know this community is extremely helpful.

Hey Guys, I’m playing the PS4 version on the PS5 and it’s been working great so far, I’ve been to the Hinterlands, and the 3 other areas you can visit early game and had no problems, just got back to Haven after visiting Val Royeaux and my game keeps doing this weird stutter where it’s like the game freezes for a second or two almost like the game has crashed but then carries on as normal. Has this happened to anyone else? It’s kind of getting on my nerves as I keep thinking it’s crashed.

Just curious on others thoughts. I have a job that allows me to live in an amazing stress-free small mountain town and I love it. I can’t imagine leaving my town.
But, I have no passion for my job, which I work remotely, typically 50-70hrs a week. It’s depressing.
Would you switch to a job you were passionate about if it required you to move out of a place you loved? Actually, a place I know I probably wouldn’t like.

Event chronology: - Bought my first ThinkPad (T14 G2a) in 2023, rocked it until march 2024, then sold it because the performance wasn't enough and it had Windows Autopilot; - After selling my T14 i bought Lenovo Yoga Pro 7, with Ryzen 7 7840HS and Radeon 780M iGPU. It annoyed me since day 1 due to it's heat, battery life and overall mediocre quality, but for some personal reasons I keeped it until yesterday, then sold it and instantly ordered my next laptop; - Today I got my new T14s G3a with Ryzen 5 6650U and 16 gigs of RAM.
Some might consider this a downgrade from my previous laptop, but I'm willing to sacrifice performance for better everything else.
It got, as I mentioned above, R5 6650U, Radeon 660M, 16 gigs of RAM and a touch display (I'm not sure which one exactly but it looks decent).
But there's 2 things that annoy me: - Swedish keyboard (I've always used US ANSI layout); - Rattling touchpad.
I've tried searching on AliExpress and didn't find any top cases. Then I searched for UK keyboard and found 2 options, first one costs $35, second one - $47,5.

Also, regarding the rattling touchpad issue, I've seen some posts where people fixed it with tape or something like that. If you can, please share your experience.

I have a question on the best way to harvest long term cap gains. I have enough room in the 0% LTCG bracket to harvest 86k LTCG that will net me 322k- bucket 1. Married filing jointly.
I have an additional 204k that will net me 439k, all locked in at average cost- bucket 2. I will have roughly the same amount of room (86k) to harvest LTCG next year and the year after.
What is the best way to do this? Should I be harvesting throughout the year and then reharvesting these lots again next year with any gains along with additional lots from the second bucket? Many lots in bucket 1 can not be harvested until starting in late June but I can harvest from bucket 2 at any time.
I will have 30k Roth rollover and about 10k dividends and interest, which leaves me the 86k after standard deduction. I am for sure harvesting as much as I can. This year. Trying to determine if I keep harvesting or to take advantage of the healthcare subsidy.
I know some may not agree with this method but I don't want to be handcuffed to my money and have to live like a peasant. The only way I can do that is to harvest LTCG.
