I’ve been with my wife for 7 years. Three years ago, my mother-in-law called us crying, saying my father-in-law had a heart attack. We thought he was dying. My wife, who was 3 months pregnant at the time, immediately jumped on the first flight back home to Sweden. She didn’t ask how I felt or if I was okay. She just broke down, said she had to go, packed a carry-on, and left.
While she was there, I asked her when she’d be back, and she said she didn’t know because, even though her dad was recovering, her mom needed help. At first, we texted all the time, but then she started ignoring my calls, saying she was too tired. I started feeling resentful.
I admit I made a bad decision. I started chatting with my ex, ended up inviting her over, and we had a great night together. By morning, I regretted it and told her to leave. When my wife came back, four months later, I came clean. She was shocked and gave me the cold shoulder for a week. I apologized, said it was a one-time mistake, and begged for forgiveness. She eventually said she’d give me one last chance.
She made me block my ex (which I already had) and set some pretty strict rules, no going out with friends she doesn’t know, stuff like that. I agreed. She gave birth, and things have been okay since then. She eventually let me back into our bedroom.
Now here’s the problem, my buddy is getting married, and all the groomsmen are planning a Vegas bachelor party. My wife has straight-up forbidden me from going. She says she doesn’t trust me and thinks I’ll make another bad decision. I told her she forgave me, so she needs to trust me again, but she’s refusing.
Am I as asshole/wrong for expecting my wife to trust me again, especially since I’ve been sticking to all her conditions so far?

Hey, I am 37. I am a flight attendant, and I travel for work. I love what I do but it is hard to make friends! I am married, live in Florida but see all 4 seasons when I travel. I just bought a house I am resuming flight school soon to become a pilot when I can find some loans ugh.

I have over 60 songs produced. I love music and being a musician.

New to the game. I always die around ante 5/6. My highest hand is like 13k, in any case once I get to like the 20k blinds I lose.
What's the best strategy? Levelling up hands? Focusing on jokers? Changing the cards in my deck? I've probably played around 10ish runs (not a lot I know) but I keep getting stuck at ante 5/6. Should I get more hands/discards?
Any advice? I'm not playing with any seeds, just clicking new run. Any good, strong advice for a beginner would be appreciated.

Hi so I think I know the answer to this (likely a “no”) but do you think that there is any chance Lumix will release new mft lenses with a declick option for manual iris control? I don’t believe any current first party MFT lenses offer this feature. Kinda seems like they might be winding down mft lens development 😢. For a company that seems to focus on video it is odd that none of their lenses offer this.
Alternatively, does anyone know of a way, or a company/individual, who can declick iris control on lenses like the 15mm 1.7 or 12mm 1.2, while maintaining camera control while in the “A” position, as well as AF?
I ask because Ive run into a few circumstances where this would be extremely useful but I would like to maintain the ability to autofocus on the subject (one less thing to manually control when solo shooting). Controlling via control dial/wheel on camera is far from smooth and is very noticeable.
If anyone has any good workarounds regarding smooth aperture changes while filming via a control dial, or maybe there’s a clever solution in post/camera settings, I’m all ears.
