Yesterday’s egg retrieval yielded 5 eggs. None matured, but one seemed like it may have a chance so it’s been put in some sort of solution to allow for maturation overnight and possible fertilization. I’ve already counted myself out, but now that I’ve calmed down a bit, I’m wondering if there really is a chance? The embryologist who called didn’t seem hopeful. 40 with low AMH and DOR. ER #4.

I read a news story that a man was convicted in my country for buying stolen cheese. The judge said there was "no doubt" about the man's guilt because he bought the product at half price.
Sometimes I doubt my own existence or the existence of the world.
So how can this judge be so sure ?
It's really hard for me to understand how some people can be so certain based on such circumstantial evidence.

I know this may not be a big deal but it’s been a little over a week since I last drank as someone who drank 3-4 times a week (and my actions were always so unpredictable) but I finally just decided I want to take my future seriously and study for the LSAT so I haven’t drank since. Even if I don’t pass at least I’ll know I studied with a clear mind and that alcohol was the reason I wasn’t pursuing this earlier. It’s a Saturday night so it’s tough right now but I am already planning to head to the library tomorrow morning! I really enjoy the sober life and don’t plan on going back.

Mustang/Ford fan forever always have been always will be. Today I found an 03 cobra convertible. 83k miles, aftermarket hood, exhaust, radio. Little bit of rust underneath like maybe it was a costal car (in central Fl now). The supercharger is black? I thought they were originally silvegray. Oh yeah aftermarket airbox. Some paint / body issues…. Definitely NOT a $50k showroom floor cobra but it is definitely at 21/22 year old used car that’d be a hella lot of fun. Wouldn’t be my daily can’t seem ole boy to come below $20k …. What say you “experts”?????

Has anyone used or thought about using a freeze drying service for your milk? I have a stash of about 370 ounces that is taking up SO much freezer space and we plan to move in a couple of months. I’m stressed about how to preserve this milk during the move and I’m still actively freezing every few days around 20 ish ounces. I looked into Boobie Juice and it looks good and seems to be the cheapest - but I’m looking for insight on if anyone has actually used these services and how it went/worked etc?

Good evening. I need help.
(this is real please take seriously) I purchased a condo approximately 4 years ago. A few months in I noticed small things like the sound of children laughing when I shower sometimes, unexplained noises, stuff like that. 2 years in the unit owner below us killed herself. Since moving in my marriage has been way more explosive and a ton more arguments. The house always seems to be a mess no matter how much we clean, I have a ton of nightmares about things out to hurt me my wife and son, rooms get super cold and we randomly get a bad smell wondering our unit that comes and goes without any reason. and we catch orbs on occasion on our security cameras…
I'm in school for 9 more months and moving out is not an option. What can I do?!

2025.01.19 01:41 user369001 I can’t tell if it’s hormones or if I genuinely can’t stand my husband anymore.
FTP with a 5 month old. Just about every other day my husband get in the same argument over and over. I breastfeed so it kind of makes me the default parent.
I always thought my partner was supportive and amazing, but having a baby has made me change those opinions. Or maybe it’s the hormones and I’m being dramatic. I really don’t know.
In my eyes, he is an incredibly passive parent. He does the bare minimum. Yes he changes diapers, yes he plays with our baby (kind of- he’s usually just on his phone in one hand and dangling a toy in front of our baby’s face with the other hand), and yes he puts him down for the occasional nap. However, I have to constantly ask him to do those things. 9/10 times i have to say “hey can you change his diaper before i feed him” or “can you go put him down for a nap”
I don’t want to say NEVER (bc that also starts arguments in our household) but I could probably count on one hand how many times he’s been proactive and done something for the baby on his own. I have to ask or remind him almost every time. It makes me want to give up BF so the duties can start being more evenly divided. I don’t truly want to, but when I feel resentful I do.
He’s a heavy heavy sleeper so he doesn’t wake up at night when he cries. I most certainly wake him up at night to have him help but sometimes it takes more time and energy for me to wake up my husband than it would be for me to go handle baby myself.
I have asked him so many times to start taking initiative and start doing more. The problem is I don’t even know what “more” is. I just know I need more support. I feel like I take on the mental load of it and all and he still functions like we don’t have a baby.
I don’t hate my husband…I think. But sometimes I feel like I really do. He’s not the dad I thought he’d be.
Right now I’m feeding our baby and my husband is sitting on the couch watching football. After baby is done eating he’ll need burped and changed. I’ll have to ask my husband to do that. He won’t offer. Even tho I have asked him about 100 times to start being more aware and proactive of baby’s needs. There’s no change. It’s exhausting…
