2025.01.19 06:18 NoIntention8351 Black screen after logging in
So this has happened 2 times back to back (laptop is msi thin 15). When I switch on my laptop, it takes the usual time to boot and the lock screen appears. Everything till here is normal. After logging in, all I can see is a black screen with cursor in it. Trackpad works normal and cursor movement is there. It's just that there's nothing on the home screen, just pitch black. After waiting for a around a min, thing goes back to normal. The home screen is there, and everything works fine like nothing ever happened. What are the potential issues here and the solutions for the same? And do I need to reach out to the service center asap or can I fix it too? (it's under warranty but service center is far and I get college assignments frequently)

To start about myself, I’m really into PC gaming. Phasmophobia, Minecraft, Palworld, BG3, Terraria, Lethal company, and many many more! I’m currently playing Black Myth: Wukong and I’m absolutely obsessed so far!
I’m also really into Dungeons and Dragons, it’s been the interest I’ve been fixated on as of the past few years. I think the lore is really interesting and I love world-building and crafting stories and interesting characters, it’s been a dream of mine for a while to be involved in or run a really long campaign
I’ve also been trying to get back into art, I’m not good at it whatsoever but it makes me happy to see myself improve. Same with crafts like crochet, sewing, fursuit making, and knitting
Other than all that I’m very into anything space related (astronomy, not astrology) and language learning. It’s one of my life goals to be fluent in at least five languages, so if you happen to have a second language that you’d like to share, I’d love to learn! He broke up with me 4 days ago. Ive been with him for 4 years and I have been nothing but good to him. I supported him while he was unemployed never have I ever made him feel like he was worthless and I didn't put any pressure on because I understood the situation. He cheated during the relationship and I forgave. He started im starting to get annoying and he's just so tired of me because I have trust issues and insecurities.He got a job few months ago and I asked him why he does not do stuff for me like taking me out on a date or buy me nice stuff. It's not the first time I asked this. And his response was he thinks it's best he gets another person because we have too many problems and he's just so tired of me. I gave him nothing but real genuine love.
Yesterday I saw that he followed a girl he told me not to worry about about.

 | It took some times but this tirned out better than i thought. I ate 6 pieces in one day. It is so so good. I used 15x11 inches pan. I put some cheese between each layer. Between 50-65 grams. Then i put about 200 grams of mozzarella on the top. Singaporean Mandopop lover here. I have earlier posted this on this subreddit, but I would like to refine my question since I want to get things straight. I understand that TikTok is likely going to be banned in the United States and that many Americans are flocking towards Xiaohongshu/RedNote and learning Mandarin. They might be doing it as a joke or a jab at their government but I'm really hoping that they develop a genuine interest in Chinese culture. Since Mandarin songs are one of the ways in which these Americans are picking up this language, I'm wondering if any of you think that a rise in Mandopop in the U.S. is likely, maybe not in the short term but potentially in the long term.
Also, I find that K-pop is becoming more international/Westernized, and just like many Western mainstream pop hits, newer songs tend to be catchy but lack in substance. Bigger companies are venturing overseas by coming up with international acts which implement the K-pop model, resulting in the blurring of lines. The return of full-member activities from top groups like BTS and Blackpink in the near future may improve things a bit, but overall I think it would not help either. Hence, I don't see K-pop fans getting into C-pop in the near term due to the huge difference (at least in the West), but I would like to know if you feel that there is the possibility that the switch can happen.

Thought I’d own a nice home in a nice single family home by now at age 32 but am still in my 2.3% interest rate new build townhouse that I’ll probably be stuck in for a while. Would love to not share walls with people anymore but our finances are looking like we will be stuck here for another 5 years or so, the interest rate is holding us back. That’s all we could afford when we bought though.
It feels small and we just had a baby so now I feel like we are outgrowing it quickly. It’s only 1600 square feet. It has a fenced yard but it’s small.
Just done sharing walls. Is anyone else sharing walls with others?

So, if i remember correctly, the only two people who knew about the kids' schedule (before they were kidnapped) were Theodora and Holiday. Neither one of these characters is realistically a traitor or a spy. But didn't Ephraim run into Holiday at a bar at one point before all this one down? Was it possible that he planted a listening device or tracker or something on her during that interaction? I don't remember if he had accepted the job for the red hand before or after this encounter, so I could be grasping at straws here.

2025.01.19 06:18 PlotPlates I'm a casual vocaloid listener, can anyone recommend me modern vocaloid songs and artist, where the songs isn't about toxic or sad things?
Anyways if you got something to recommend, just comment...Here are just not so useful insight to why, I'm asking for this...
listened to a bunch of old Popular vocaloid songs back when I was still in Junior high, gradually I stopped listenting to them till late college, until vocaloid started going mainstream again in youtube to a point they came back in my recommendations. Which I am back to vocaloid again.
I mostly listened to the Happy sounding songs, with silly lyrics, with themes in more comedy, Romance. Some of them I heard are like mature and like sand planet a song filled with so much sentiment, even if I wasn't such a hardcore vocaloid fan, I felt what the artist was making from that song.
I did listen to some of the Sexual popular ones too, and I quite still did Like them regardless because most of them are just, Hey People are very Horny too. Like Luvoratorrry is a very Horny song, about Having wild wild sex. And I love the beat on that one.
I honestly loved this Era of vocaloid songs, now I do not have an idea if I just missed all the toxic and depressing ones... some of them where just dramatic and about heartbreak and Love drama... but man... all of this modern Vocaloid are just far too different, most are just teethering to just pure depression this days, and instead of enjoying the tunes, I just get depressed...
Like every song themes, is about drug abuse, unhealthy habits, Toxic Relationships, Sex abuse, Depression, Suicidal... Its funny some people would probably say, I will never survive Old vocaloid, but man Old vocaloid songs never sounded so depressing with their lyrics, or atleast the ones I heard...
Horny songs, was just Horny songs, not about depression with sex.
Heartbreak songs are just bittersweet lovesongs, not about break up and planning suicide
Funny comedic sounding songs are actually comedic and silly and not funny comedic sounding songs with Depressing lyrics about feeling like a failure.
Not that any of this are bad, they all sound good. But man this is not my go to Listen when I have a soundtrip going to Class or Doing my Work.
Yeah. Since I'm just a casual and don't know much of the modern artist, can anyone recommend me any? Yes I can just Re listen to old vocaloid songs, but wont it be interesting I never heard of one modern artist? Because the popular ones this days that I only see and heard are all about toxic and sad themes?
