I can't help but noticed how the 3D Action RPG genre has been engulfed by Souls-like trend that now it's pretty much everywhere. If you are a fan of 3D Action RPGs but don't like the Soulslike genre, well you damn near better suck it up. It's taken over the industry. It makes sense. Money talks.
Ok with that being said, why didn't we see a similar trend with Elder Scrolls-like becoming a thing with seeing how popular and successful that game been? It's been over a decade waiting for a sequel. Plenty of time for a Scrollslike genre to pop up to fill in that gap. But nothing like this ever took off like Soulslike genre did.. but why?

Not sure if this has been discussed already but is it possible it’s not Helena, but it is in fact innie Helly who has been coerced by Helena/Lumon to act as a double agent and extract information from the others?
To me her prodding Irving for what he found out during OTC “even if it’s bad” is very suspicious, especially after lying about her experience. Points towards her being Helena, or a comprised/coerced Helly.
It might also explain some of the mixed messages we get like the standoffish response to Mark’s hug, her saying “we don’t owe our outies shit” (which to me sounds like Helly), her having the innie skill of knowing how find the scary numbers etc.
What do you think?

It's easier with material damages. Regret, repent, resolve to never do it again and compensate them. It's sort of easy with time (irreplaceable) repay them with your time and dua. What if it's emotional pain?
I was wrong. Completely. It's not a case of "I'm sorry for being rude but I was actually right with the idea, only wrong with my word choice". I was wrong, I detest doing this and... "wasn't feeling myself" is a lame excuse.
I regret it. I have an actual workable strategy to prevent slipping ever again. I've been actually less prone to it lately, until (another lame excuse!) unrelated events happened which broke my sanity to the point of panicking and making bad decisions. I wish I could cancel this.
How do I show them it's not a fake apology? What if they don't want to talk to me? I've been reminded of surah Kahf. You have three chances. After that, it's the separation between me and you. How many chances do we have today?
It's not that I want to necessarily keep that person in my life. This decision is with Allah anyway. I regret hurting them, even if they don't want me back. How does one even heal a heart.
Please pray for us, someone here MUST be in a better position than me, in a better standing with Allah. Please pray that He gives us patience, the ability to repent and to listen, and that all arguments between Muslims are resolved.
I'm sorry and disgusted with this behavior. Can't give details but I've said something inappropriate to a third person which of course got forwarded. Not their fault either, I shouldn't have SAID it, Allah is with every two people speaking secretly, He Knows anyway. Is there anything I can do? Stopping this now and for good is obvious, consider already done.

 | l've done some testing on the interactions, and l believe it should be possible to get 50% more action speed from reversed self-chill via Heartbound Loop damage taken as cold from Catalysis passive. The items in the skeleton pob cost more currency than usually make in a league, though, so l am probably going to shelve this for now and just wanted to share what l've learned so far. Core interactions path of building: https://pobb.in/auhZX4c8w2h4 proof of concept: https://youtu.be/59rxmKNEDVk https://www.poe2wiki.net/wiki/Chill works similarly to how it did in poe1, but the base numbers have changed - in poe1 you could inflict the minimum chill amount by dealing just 0.32% of ailment threshold in damage; in poe2 the minimum chill is still 5%, but you appear to need a hit of 10% of the ailment threshold to inflict it. The maximum value of chill in poe1 was 30% (or 40% with elementalist ascendancy), but in poe2 chill effect goes up to 50%. Player ailment threshold is based on maximum life, but does not appear to change when allocating chaos inoculation; this is the same behavior as seen in poe1. Heartbound loop deals 300 damage to you when a minion dies. The 'catalysis' passive node causes you to take 5% of physical damage as a random element, meaning that 1 in 3 self-hits will deal 15 base cold damage to you, which will be reduced by 75% resistance to 3.75 (probably rounded down to 3, but l haven't tested that). So you need to have <30 base life to be able to chill yourself at all through capped resistances, and even lower than that to receive a maximum-effect chill (l don't know exactly what the percent is but it probably doesn't matter as any reduced life% past 100% sets your life to 1, which should be good enough). You can then allocate Chaos Inoculation with no downside. Required uniques Sierran Inheritance and Heartbound Loop occupy a body slot and a ring slot, so the only remaining places to get reduced life are the other ring slot and your amulet. Belt slot will be required as well, to boost the ring. If you don't have god rolls of ingenuity and eye of chayula you will also need to allocate Heavy Buffer and Goring. The attached pob uses a non-corrupted eye of chayula, so you don't need to high-roll with vaal on a catalysed, anointed (Goring costs 2 isolation, Heavy Buffer costs 1) amulet. https://preview.redd.it/ht94bvk02wde1.png?width=545&format=png&auto=webp&s=68846821c0b9ad3870838b5d875c25dabc0521ec Remaining problems Apart from the basic build questions - how to survive, how to do damage - you also need to find a way to survive the self-hits. Chill lasts for 2 seconds, and you have only a 33% chance to apply it with each hit, so you will need to hit yourself more than 1.5x per second to remain chilled. Ingenuity will boost the damage from 300 to 540 (more or less, depending on the roll). You also need to deal with the shock and freeze you are inflicting on yourself. l don't know if a viable build can be made from all this, just wanted to report that it appears to be theoretically possible. 2025.01.19 06:20 averaged_brownie Rewatching the series and Misinterpretation Agitation (S8-E7) might just be the worst ep.
Both Amy degrading Bernadette for being picked as the sexiest female scientist and Leonard being okay hanging out with the doctor who was hitting on his fiancé.
I am not the biggest fan of Amy, but I feel like it was pure jealousy when she was trying to put down Bernadette for being nominated as a sexy scientist. Many professions do have modeling gigs to show off people who are beautiful and talented in their own fields. This storyline can at least be justified by assuming this is another typical sitcom plot of introducing a situation where one character feels strongly about something/has a previous flaw being blown out of proportion. But I cannot say the same thing when Leonard did not have an issue inviting in the creepy doctor into their apartment. I know he said he did protest but it still does not fit with his character for me. He has been more or less the most normal guy in the group. The show does portray him as a spineless kid when interacting with his mother, but he has also stood up in many situations. He is the person in the group you expect to be of reason.
The worst part of the episode is when they realize they have been locked up by the doctor and still plays the video game when the girls arrive to get them. At some point the episode was not even funny. Over the seasons many of the characters did lose my respect. But the amount of respect I lost for Leonard in this episode is massive.

For those who are studying for it. DO NOT STRESS if you fail the Dions practice exams. I got a 62 and 65 on those, and I just passed my exam today (1/18/25) with a 739. Mind you, I had taken this exam twice before and failed them, this time I was more confused and didn’t know what the fuck was going on during the test, like for example, the first 25 questions, I flagged because I did not understand them. I was even running out of time and I think I didn’t even answer one of the PBQs because I didn’t know what to do on it. I felt like I was seriously going to fail it with like a 500, but to my surprise, after finishing the end survey, I got the “ needed score 720, your score 739, Congratulations you passed. I am so relieved! … if I can do it. Yall can do it too. I used dions modules and took notes on them, then made about 300 flash cards and used quiz let to make exams based on those flash cards. I took three weeks. Two reviewing the modules, and last one, using Quizlet for the exams. That’s it. … p.s. fk! My wgu professor who wanted me to jump over hoops to get me the voucher to take the exam. I paid out of pocket and didn’t need to do all your cert masters. Middle finger to you bih!!!!!

E1 is obviously a bigger damage increase but the skill point from S1 also seems like a pretty good QoL upgrade. S1 is also a more likely pull with the amount of jades I have, so I'm not really sure which one is more worth to all-in on in my case. Thanks!
