I (33f) met have been in a 10 year relationship with my boyfriend "Carl" (33m). After the first year of our relationship I made it very clear that I intended to be a wife someday. By the time I was 28 I started to remind him of my goals and expectations and Carl told me that while he knew he wanted to marry me he just wasn't ready yet and didn't like how I was pressuring him and called me controlling. Eventually we broke up but six months later we got back together and even moved in.
Looking back on it now, I realize that that wasn't the best decision but I was so emotionally attached to this man and felt so invested that I was willing to go back to him. Carl and I have now been living together for four years and while I stopped being happy about it after the first six months, living with him isn't a bad experience. Plus I always thought that us getting married was just around the corner, because he said he was ready to commit to me but he wanted to wait for the right time because I deserved a "perfect proposal" and a more stable husband.
I've been going to therapy for the past two years and recently had an epiphany. Since childhood I have always wanted a wedding but never really gave much thought to being a married woman 24/7 and what that would mean. Given my country's shift in politics and new laws that politicians are trying to pass, I realized that not only am I fine with never getting married but I'm starting to lean more into no longer possessing the desire to do it.
Since then it feels like I've been set free in a way and started focusing on myself. One of the major things that I've done is tell Carl that I'll no longer assist with babysitting his nephews and niece and instead focus more of my time into getting certified in something to increase my earning potential and just relaxing. Carl seemed nonchalant about it at first but then said that we needed to have a sit down when I sent Carl's mom and his brother a text that they had three weeks before I stopped helping out completely.
Carl said that while he understands my desire for more personal time, it's important to be there and sacrifice for family. I told him that he could switch around his own work schedule and help with the kids since they're technically his family, and he said that the children love me and that one day they'd be my family too once we were man and wife.
It was in that moment that I told him that I no longer desired marriage and while I gave my reasons Carl still took it as me wanting to break up with him and/or thinking that he would make a terrible husband. That is not the case at all but he's starting to lash out and get suspicious and I just don't know what to do. How can I get my boyfriend to see that it's me not him?
TL;DR: I realized that I no longer want to get married and my boyfriend of 10 years is taking it as a personal strike against him.

Hello,
I have had the coil for coming up for six years. I have vaginismus as a result of a bad SA. I’ve been to the doctor to try and get this thing out of me three times with no avail, I end up getting ‘triggered’ and pushing the speculum out of me. Even at that, the doctor has to use a small speculum and cannot see my strings.
She has noted that we can try local anaesthetic, but I fear that this will be the same result, as I also have an intense fear of needles.
Feeling very trapped having this thing in my body that’s causing inflammation, weight gain, muscle and bone pain, etc. I also get married at the end of March eek.
I guess I’d like to hear successful stories of someone in my position and, if not, if I could request being ‘put under’ for removal and how long the waiting list would be.

The "moderator" was machined by me based on historical prints. Suppressor is AAC 762 SD and it's quite as a mouse. Aimpoint 3000 (found on eBay). Without suppressor, this setup is light as a feather, especially if I replace moderator with A2 birdcage. Having a modern padded sling made to look like old canteen slings. I'm posting this so people have some information of what I saw recently. It's for the record and any other folk in the U.K that have witnessed similar and can offer accounts of their sightings.
Over 8 days ending on the 15.01 sighting I saw this so called drone thing in the sky 3 times. 1st sighting very slow and low I estimate 20mph 200 ft altitude. 1st sighting appearance: 1 red and 1 green light. 2 amber lights. The amber lights reminded me of old sodium streetlights and were larger dinner plate size compared to the red and green lights. Sound: no rotor sound, very hard to describe, like a gentle jet but no turbine whine. The body of the craft was hard to discern but I could see a few box shapes and initially a hint of a quad configuration in it's basic form but it was all very black. It made me think of that vanta black very low reflective paint. Size: transit van It flew south slowly down a valley in the direction of the Jurassic coast here and then seemed to slowly turn up on it's side and flew west across a couple of valleys. It stopped about 1km south of a small aerodrome. It then began a short sequence of lurching forward and back very quickly covering 100 metres or so each time. After less than a minute it was below my line of sight. Second sighting began as an orange blob of light in the sky. Distance from me I estimate about 3-5 miles. Altitude estimate 5-10,000 ft. From being motionless it streaked instantaneously to it's right and then became a sparkling multitude of tiny white lights, same surface area as the orange blob it had previously been. Then it strobed randomly and very brightly from fewer point sources than the sparkling moments earlier. And then a red and green light appeared and it began moving across the sky southwards holding it's altitude and at approximately 20-50mph. It stopped after a couple of miles and there was another very similar looking object close which was moving slowly in the area. I stopped watching this after a couple of minutes because I was content with what I'd seen and didn't want to be too late for an engagement I had. The third sighting I was standing in a field in the dark, same area as previous 2 sightings, very low light pollution. I was scanning the skies with my naked eyes in anticipation of seeing something again and knowing a little now of what to look for. I saw a stationary point of white light that was occasionally flashing red and green. It was about 4-5 miles away and between 5-10,000 ft altitude by my estimate. After 3-4 minutes of it being stationary it did a sudden but slow move across the sky and then wobbled a bit and instantly rose in altitude. It would then be stationary for a minute and then move in a random direction again just like before Impression: What impressed me the most about all these sightings was the way this thing moved during the 3rd sighting. I have never seen such instant acceleration or wobbling in the air of any object like this. It would stop, gently 'drift' then squiggle around for a moment changing in altitude by a few hundred ft in an instant. I cannot articulate adequately just how uncanny it's movements were. If you had a flashlight and shone the beam on a wall and then shook your wrist to make the spot of light move it was faster than that movement. It appeared to have no inertia at all at such times. Disclamers: I won't include any genders on this post so neither the post nor your opinions are biased, so I will use "they" as gender-neutral pronoun, also throwaway account because said friend is on reddit.
So a few years ago I met and became close to this person due to common interests, and we have been hanging out and doing stuff since then, pretty much the average friendship.
They decided that they needed a break from their life and went backpacking to South America, with no return date at sight, and I was happy for them because I knew that was something they've always wanted to do. (For context we are from an european country)
Cue to last week, my friend sent me some pictures with a bunch of random people, and when I asked, my friend said that "these are (name), my friend from Reddit and their group of friends". I asked them what do they mean "friend from Reddit" and they said that on reddit there are meet-up groups that you can join if you're going on vacation to meet people who's either going as well or locals.
When they explained, I didn't say much about it, it was just my initial shock becuse I never knew you could make friends on reddit, but when my friend sent me a picture of them hanging out in what seemed to be a house, just my friend and the reddit friend, I told my friend (jokingly but not really) "hey have you never heard of stranger danger?? For all we know, this person could be a psycho, a serial killer, or a recruiter for a cult!"
So my friend started blowing off at me, saying things like "don't say stuff like this about (name)" and "you have no fucking clue they are good people".
I don't know, it just clicked me the wrong way that someone would simply go to a stranger's house two days after meeting for the first time, no matter how much they have messaged each other, and I wanted my friend to be save.
Is it really that bad that I said that??
