I’m sure most people in diaspora have seen the news of the EFCC raid (more like attempted kidnapping/armed robbery but that’s besides the point) in Awka. You can go and look it up and draw whatever conclusions you want. What I took from the story is that they took the injured aggressor to a hospital and it was only a nurse on duty. Then they took him to another hospital where he ended up dying. Now my algorithm shows me all the Detty December festivities; I see mega homes, I see fleet of luxury cars, I see military and police escorts everywhere, people throwing money at each other, some of them in bundles. So none of these people can come together and invest in healthcare infrastructure in their communities? AWKA, the capital of Anambra has no hospitals equipped for any emergency? Nigerians, make it make sense.

2025.01.19 11:43 bcs83 Advice on a general business use computer. Very little gaming. USA - No MicroCenter near me.
It's been a long time since I've put together a PC. The last GPU i purchased was a VooDoo 3 2000 PCI. The last CPU I bought was an AMD K6/2 450Mhz.
I'm looking to replace my laptop (i7-1255u, 16GB ram, Iris XE integrated graphics) with a desktop. The only game I play is Wow and raids are barely playable on my current setup. I would like to have 60+ FPS in WoW and at least mid settings, 1080p, not sure if a GPU is needed for that or if any integrated graphics can handle it.
I often have Excel, Word, and Powerpoint open. 15-30 browser tabs. And random accounting/tax programs. I want speed when switching programs and dealing with large spreadsheets. No OS or peripherals needed.
Mid-Tower or smaller size case.
I think I would like an AMD CPU, AM5 socket since I believe that is the current socket. But not against intel if their reliabilty in the current generation is good, I've heard good and bad.
32 GB RAM Minimum.
1TB SSD is more than enough.
yes to Bluetooth and WiFi
NO Lighted components unless they are cheaper than non lighted.
Fan noise is not a major convern.
I'm willing to start with integrated graphics and see how it runs, then maybe get an intel B580 or something later in the spring.
I'm thinking no more than $1000 without GPU.

Wie schon im Titel erwähnt, habe ich das Gefühl, dass beim Training mein Bizeps, sobald er in die Übung involviert ist, mindestens 50% der Kraft erzeugt.
Ich habe schon vor 10-12 Jahren für einige Jahre Krafttraining gemacht und bin jetzt vor einigen Monaten wieder eingestiegen, da ich Rückenprobleme habe und mir das Training gut tut. Jetzt ist nur wie schon beschrieben, bei Übungen wie Rudern, Lattziehen, usw. mein Problem, dass meine Oberarme die Hauptarbeit machen und meine "schwachen" Rückenmuskeln nicht die Aufmerksamkeit bzw. den Effekt bekommen den ich erreichen möchte. Auch beim Bankdrücken hab ich das Gefühl, dass mein Bizeps mehr Arbeit leistet als meine Brustmuskeln.
Was ist das los, was mache ich falsch? Oder ist einfach meine Anatomie komisch?
