2025.01.19 12:20 Sakirth Ex-mod MatK has said current employees told him budgets are getting squeezed and a lot of mods are annoyed with how management has handled this whole situation.
We already know most Jmods don't care for the internal office politics regarding monetization and would rather just make good updates.
But if what MatK is saying is true, then that means that on top of increasing membership prices (and presumably profit) by up to 24% (!) they're also squeezing the budgets of the teams working on updates, which means we get less for more.
That combined with the relentless ongoing MTX/TH promos we have to endure is frankly unacceptable in my eyes. I have no idea what kind of YoY revenue target CVC/Haveli has set for Jagex but this cannot continue like this. There is a limit to how much you can milk the existing playerbase and if you ask me we are quickly approaching that point.

I was gonna write a long explanation but it’s really pointless. I just need to get it off my chest real fast. That I’ve been having nsfw dreams about one of my friends. We’re both grown adults [ im f, they’re m ] so it shouldn’t be that big of a deal, but when it happened the first time I was still in a relationship- and the next time I saw him I could barely talk or look at him. We weren’t that close yet and that dream like- changed something in my brain, and now I can’t stop thinking about him like that. It’s confusing because I wanted to take a break from that stuff, maybe just screw around- no emotions involved. But now I’m daydreaming almsot constantly about him in that way and I really don’t want it to slip out that I do and he stop being my friend. Especially because I probably would catch feelings for him if something did happen- despite my fear of falling for someone else. We text a little but it’s easy to avoid feeling through text rn. But irl idk how well I can hide it, especially because we seem to be getting closer as friends. My best friend knows about it because I confided in her and pesters me about it, and has assured me if I made a move that he would still be my friend, but I still don’t know what to do. I really don’t want to ruin another friendship, and it’s bothering me sm. There’s not really a way for me to avoid him and it’s gotten so bad that I’ve been pushing that energy I’m feeling for him onto other people that I definetly would never sleep with, and now it’s just gotten even more complicated. I feel like I’m gonna explode 😭 if it was mutual- great! But I don’t want to fall for someone and get hurt- or hurt someone again. It has honestly stressed me out so much more than when I was in a relationship I was unhappy in. I just don’t know what to do in my life anymore. Maybe I just needed to rant about it and admit I have a little crush.
Anyway. That’s it I guess.

2025.01.19 12:20 AForeignSuitGuy Our cat keeps aggressively attacking my GF
Basically what the title says. My gf and i moved in together about 3 months ago. I’ve been around her house plenty before that when she already had our little demon. He’s always had me as a favorite, but never to the point where he is actively looking for a fight with my gf where he draws blood.
He’s definitely been more active since we’ve moved as he’s got a lot more space to move around now. He also seems happier? So it’s strange that these past few days/weeks his behavior seems to worsen towards my gf.
He sometimes nibbles on my feet when i’m at my desk, but i tell him off and he usually stops. When he doesn’t he gets a time-out and that sorts it out. My gf usually does the same but now that seems to only set him off more and he goes full on attack mode.
Before anyone asks, we do play with him a fair bit and definitely more since we moved.
We’ve already decided to take him to the vet tomorrow, but he’s already had an appointment fairly recently and he was perfectly healthy then.
We could really do with some advice as we have no idea what could cause this.

She is 51 years old female. She has rheumatoid arthritis. Her height is 5’6 with 62 kgs in weight.
She is currently not on any medication apart from some regular calcium and vitamin D supplements. I also give her some magnesium and vitamin B1 supplement sometimes.
What is her issue? She has swelling in her feet and she finds it hard to walk once this issue occurs. It clears up 2-3 days later.
