I’m preparing to paint my first batch of infantry and I wanted to ask current wisdom on what to prime the models with? Do you go with a dark blue base? do you prime with white? or do you prime with a color that might be a dominant feature of your color scheme… like Steingrau?
what are the advantages and disadvantages of each approach?

28F. Currently work in corporate. Feeling completely unfulfilled and bored. I've considered therapy as a career on and off since college. I have a psych degree and masters in higher education (took two counseling courses during that time). Worked as an academic advisor before moving to Ed tech
To those that pursued it as a second career, how did you manage to fight the doubts (I.e. starting late, filling out applications) and what populations/settings do you work in now?
I'm applying to two online programs. I have to pursue online since I work a full time job and can't break my lease. I come from the world of higher Ed so I'm hoping to use my degree to go back and work with college students and help them manage their mental health. I'm in VA but may look to pursue a license in both VA and another state. Any insight helps. Thanks !

2025.01.19 13:20 Extreme-Impression20 Need to time the sell of our current house with buying. New build.
We bought our first house (new build) in 2021 and have a nice interest rate. However as a family of 5 we've quickly outgrown this 3 bedroom house and the neighborhood isn't the best.
We found a DR Horton 5 bedroom in a phase 2 community that we're on the interest list for. However in order to sign a purchase contract they say our current house has to be under escrow.
They're giving us a timeline of completion in April/May.
I'm just worried about getting screwed because my kids are homeschooled and my husband as well as myself work from home.
We need the funds from the sale of our current home to be able to put the down payment on the next house.
When should I put my house on the market?

Hey, I have an ergometry test tomorrow at the hospital and I'm really scared. The reason is that I actually only get more extrasystoles when I exert myself, sometimes they are also volleys. That's why I haven't done any sport for years and I didn't exert myself fully during the last normal ergometry 1 1/2 years ago, simply because I was worried. Has anyone here experienced the same thing and do you have any tips on how I can think about tomorrow in a relaxed way?

- Was für eine Art Gewerbe muss ich anmelden und wie läuft so ein Geschäft steuerlich?
- Darf ich z. B. auch Gemüse einmachen oder Sauerkraut machen und verkaufen oder gibt es dafür speziellere Auflagen bezüglich der hygienischen Verarbeitung als für unverarbeitetes Gemüse vom Feld?
- Welche Flächen darf ich hierfür nutzen? Darf das Gemüse in einem Schrebergarten angebaut werden oder brauche ich dafür eine Ackerfläche? Es geht hier wirklich um keine große Fläche die ich bewirtschaften würde. Irgendwas zwischen 500 und 1500 Quadratmeter.

Hey Reddit, I've had, for a while, a Mann made USA bridge and it's been awesome... But my ONE gripe is how skinny the tremolo arm is. Do USA PRS guitars have the same skinny tremolo? If I open up the tightening screw, can I fit a thicker bar in there? It's not a "problem" persay but it's just weird to me..
