So I’m looking at making a shift to cabinet making and furniture work. I make Windsor stools, cutting boards, and carve spoons as a very small time side thing. I’m 30 but healthy and work mostly outdoors in marine transportation.
What would be a good place to start? Should I take classes at a trade school and then get an apprenticeship? Or just start applying at shops around my area? I understand I would take a pay cut and that’s fine, but what is the average apprentice making? 20h/r?

I am curious how people who write their own campaigns do it?
Since the last time I did this, I have taken up fiction writing, and in particular discovered the white boarding tool Scapple works well for this. I'm basically setting up the campaign as a series of questions, with the answers being the next chapters of the campaign.
"This weird thing happened. Who did it? ---> lead to place X where they can get a clue" and so forth.
I'm curious, what's your writing/design process? Any good tools or techniques you like?
