I have this sweater that's finally ready to wash because of the fact that it has a couple of stains on it (not big, just enough to make it time). The tag says "Hand wash" on it. I've hand washed before, a winter hat, but the sink that I would use in my laundry room is far too small to do a whole sweater and I don't need my S/O annoyed with me because I washed a sweater in the bathtub.
Our washer has a delicate setting and I can turn off the spin speed. Can I put the sweater in there, on delicate with the spin turned off with cold water or should I just take it to the dry cleaners?

I’ve been practicing lucid dreaming for three weeks now. On the second day, I already had a pretty clear lucid dream that felt just like waking reality. I also occasionally experience sleep paralysis and vibrations, which might be familiar to those into AP.
However, over the past week, my dream recall has dropped from remembering three dreams per night to only fragments—or sometimes nothing at all. I stay consistent with my daily reality checks and have been meditating for an hour every day for a year, yet it feels like I’m going backwards. My motivation and focus are starting to fade.
This same pattern happened a year ago: I had strong experiences early on, but after a few weeks, my progress stalled, and I slowly stopped practicing (except for meditation). This time, I’m determined to push through, but it’s frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this kind of setback? I’d love to hear your stories and any advice on overcoming this phase.

TLDR: Only the trackpad still clicks. Not able to force shutdown. Zero physical damage to it. What now?
I was using my M1 MBA in clampshell mode connected to an external monitor. I double clicked to play a mp4 file using IINA and I jumped around in timeline and all of a sudden the screen went dark and never came back. Now, the built-in monitor is dark. There's no signal when connected to an external monitor. Bluetooth mouse and keyboard don't connect to it. There's no keyboard backlight (not sure if I've turned it off though.) The only thing that works is that the force-touch trackpad still clicks and so it probably is powered on. I tried to force shutdown by long pressing power button and holding Ctrl+Cmd+Power, both of which did nothing.
What should I do now? Should I leave it a few days for the battery to drain? Is it safe if I open it up and remove the battery connector to force a power off and reconnect it? Should I try to revive or restore firmware? How much does Apple charge to fix it if there's not hardware damage?

2025.01.19 15:19 CPC_CPC Keep getting misaligned olive in Shimano
I've just had a frustrating several hours building an Ultegra R8170.
It seems completely hit or miss whether I actually get the olive in the correct position with both the caliper and the levers. 50% of the time the olive misaligns/rotates or does not go far enough on the hose creating a poor seal. The result is oil seeping out from the port and having to get a new olive (or potentially even having the cut the end off the hose and putting in a new barb).
Same story on previous builds I have done.
I have now finished the build but is there a way I can avoid this in future?
- I am trying to ensure the hose is fully inserted before tightening (not always easy when doing integrated handlebars but also had it on calipers).
- I am using the correct olives and barbs.

Hello there, being someone who started playing this game quite recently and enjoying it, i come across something that left a question in my mind, during my reading of different skill i noticed that some time the key word "You will get a Speed Boost" in a few skill, instead of the usual wording "Your speed will increase" or "Your acceleration will increase".
Coming from Yu-Gi-Oh where wording is important i wonder, does Speed Boost is a key word to design a buff in both category (speed+acceleration)
The main example of a skill like this would be Duramente ult where it's said that her speed will increase in the first activation and then she will get a slight speed boost in the final leg, i am confusing by why the wording changed instead of saying "the speed will slighty increase again"
I am ever more confused by the actual gameplay because when her ult activate his second effect she become way faster.
So i came here to know from more experience player if it's just the traduction who changed the wording, something the dev did to avoid repeting themself in the skill or if speed boost is a key word who designate something different than the usual "speed/acceleration increase"

I was literally rooting for them ngl. I've watched only two episodes of season 2 and so far I only felt the chemistry between Yuri and Kitty. Yuri and Dae or Yuri and min ho just don't make sense to me. Also I don't see the chemistry between Juliana and Yuri yet but ofc she's barely been introduced so far so I could be wrong. Anyone else?
