I watched thru for the first time a few weeks back. I then started reading the first book and it seemed like a novelized version of season 1. The show was SO spot on with the adaptation. Translating someone else’s fleshed out idea is so much different than coming up with your own. When they ran out of source material did they hold back their creativity waiting for more guidance?

Now that the fan is here.. tried to switch it in and the connecting piece isn’t even close.
Any guidance? Also can’t get over default settings without over heating the thing. Been cruising around 1TH/s w default frequency and 1100 core voltage.

 | Hi everyone! So, I am premaring a massive AU that I want to start next year that changes many things about the ASOIAF universe. One of the things that I want to add is valyrian culture slowly making it's way through Westeros after Aegon's Conquest. In my AU, Aegon the Conqueror named his capital New Valyria instead of King's Landign and proclaimed himself as Emperor of Westeros, as a reference to the old title of Emperor of Valyria (Valyria was a empire in my AU). Dragonstone, Driftmark and Claw Isle were colonies of the Valyrian Empire and the people of those islands have a lot of minor valyrian blood, bearing traits like purple eyes and/or golden-silver hair. Many of them also teach and talk in High Valyrian. The people from there are know as Western Valyrians. After the conquest, Emperor Aegon I Targaryen brough many people from the three islands to the County of New Valyria. creating a population there and also 12 Baronies around New Valyria, led by Western Valyrian families. Red is the city and dark red is the extended area of the city. The objective of the Conqueror was clear: he wanted to spread the valyrian traits, culture and language through influence and marriage, slowly and peacefully turning Westeros into a new Valyria. That is not something he ever said out loud, tho. That is something the Targaryens motivate behind the curtains, arranging some valyrian marriages between valyrian houses and non valyrian houses. High Valyrian is spoken between the high nobility of Westeros as a elite language. It is expected from Kings (title of the heads of the Great Houses) to be able to speak High Valyrian fluently. So, how deep would be the valyrian influence by 298 AC? Could it be more strongly present in the Crownlands? How much? What about the other kingdoms? I recently discovered this brand of site candy on Tik Tok (RIP), and their Super Sour Skulls are truly SUPER sour!! I have type 2 diabetes and am addicted to sour, so I was so happy to find these and discover they really don't spike my glucose when I eat a bunch! The creator worked with chefs and good scientists to develop a safe recipe for her candy loving, diabetic dad to enjoy.
I also love that they are citrus flavored gummies, it just adds to the super sourness, and they are some really well. For those of you who don't need to limit your sugar intake you might not love the gummy texture and flavor, but for me with such limited options, I find these Super Sour gummies to be one of my favorite limited/no sugar gummies in general. The company does offer two other flavor packs of regular sour gummies, which were ok but I didn't love the flavors and they were not sour enough for me. It's the Super Sour Skulls that hit the mark!
WARNING: one of the ways these were made safe for diabetics was adding a lot of fiber to the recipe, so if you are looking for a candy to binge eat...DO NOT but these! You will have terrible stomach cramps and the shits from all the fiber! I will eat one bag over the course of like three to five days.

Please help. Our 3.5 month old all of a sudden this last week decided she HATES eating. We have never had an issue with her eating but now she’ll only drink 1 oz before she starts screaming her head off.
I don’t know what to do at this point. She’s eating terribly, barely getting 20 oz a day which I know is on the lower end for her age.
She has all the “signs” of teething but I know this would be early, and realistically there could be an explanation for everything because it’s all typical baby stuff (chewing on hands / everything, drooling, super fussy, chewing on bottle nipple, crap naps). Everyone always thinks their baby is teething early and I don’t want to be that person - but I literally can’t think of anything else.

I know it's infrequent, but it's super annoying to deal with customer service for features like "Never SIM Swap" and "No Port Out". At a minimum it'd be nice to be able to confirm they're turned on (when I've worked with support to enable them for various lines the past few months, they normally haven't even heard of the features and then ask me to explain, then just tell me OK it's enabled, not exactly inspiring confidence). It'd be even better to enable/disable them yourself. I realize it requires extra verification to disable, but other carriers and financial institutions have demonstrated you can do these things with a decent UX.

2025.01.19 17:40 heyitsnem Cat with pneumonia - how long after antibiotics for breathing to return to normal?
My cat (dsh 2.5yo spayed f) developed a pretty gnarly case of pneumonia and has been on antibiotics (clavamox for 10 days before discontinuing due to tummy issues and zeniquin). We're at day 13 on treatment. She also started cerenia and probiotics a few days ago, with some capsule mirtazapine every couple of days to help with appetite. We have four days left of the zeniquin to go.
Initially her breathing looked better but then the side effects from the clavamox seemed to take over and I assumed her breathing was impacted by nausea and other unfun GI shenanigans, but now that she's been off it for a few days her breathing seems to still be laboured/huffy - not as bad as when I originally took her in, but I'm still concerned. I would also not be surprised if some of the off breathing was related to stress (multiple pillings a day were not moments of joy in our household haha). Will be following up with our vet ofc, but I wanted to check in on what expect to see from cats as they recover from pneumonia while we get through the last couple days (also our vet is closed on Sundays):
- Should a cat's breathing entirely back to normal by the time they finish their antibiotics course?
- If not, how long would you expect it take to return to normal without intervention?
- If it doesn't or it's not normal without intervention, what course of action would you be looking at next?
Thanks for any insights! I have videos from the day I took her in two weeks ago as well as yesterday to compare the breathing if that's of any interest or help.

my issue is that my pc will keep crashing when loading into a valorant game, or loading into a Fortnite game. but any other game such as genshin or honkai star rail, itll work perfectly fine (havent tried it multiplayer thought). its also okay When im in the valorant home page, but as soon as i get into a game - in character select - it just crashes. it freezes both my monitors, then after waiting a few seconds, itll make both my monitors go black, again wait maybe about 30 seconds, then going to my home screen with the notification pop up error saying 'Graphics driver crashed!

An issue report has been created that can be sent to AMD to help us improve our software. Would you like to report this issue? '
i cant even click the send report button because my screen is frozen, so i have to go to my second monitor to restart my pc.
Also to mention, when playing paladins, it works perfectly fine even when loading into a game. So I think for some reason when a heavier game than paladins (which is not hard to beat) and I join into a lobby with other people, my pc just shits the bed.
i checked if my gpu driver was up to date as well as updating bios. but nothing changed. im not entirely good with pc's so im not sure if i need to download any other drivers and if thats the issue.
I'd really appreciate some help as a pc noob i really just want to enjoy my pc to the fullest, so this is really frustrating especially after all the money and time i had spent :(
