2025.01.19 15:05 We_Could_Dream_Again Fast Forward/Rewind on CBC Gem w/ Chromecast: No preview of where you are?
So on most streaming apps with our Chromecast, you can pause what you're watching and fast forward or rewind through the video to get to the point you want, and you are seeing a small preview image of what is happening at that point in the video to help you find the spot you want.
The CBC Gem app never seems to remember where we were on an episode, so we always have to try to find the spot in the video where we were, but we aren't seeing any preview to help us find the right spot. This is made all the worse by most likely having to watch a new set of commercials every time we unpause, just to find out if we're close to where we wanted to be in the video.
Does it work this way for everyone else? I'm hoping I'm missing something.

The result on the left is a ‘product’ of that wave form & supposes that by hand, without a computer a criminal thought to barely be able to spell created a code of letters and symbols to hide the paragraph on the left. That result names no person, no place and no thing, and according to the cryptologist that decoded it is, “ just another bragging rambling statement of a mad man with no information about his identity or anyone else’s.
The result on the right is the ‘product’ of one single line from the letters and symbols of the code shown in the middle and the cryptologist that decoded that says it identifies One Single person who was the only person who could fit the description held in that line in 1968, out of 3.1 Billion people; which was the current population on earth at that time.
Here is my question: If you submitted both of these to the most accomplished Investigative force on earth, the FBI to confirm the validity of either the one on the left or the one on the right, HOW could you confirm the validity or non-validity of the one on the left if the result contains no person, no place, or no thing to check?
At least the one on the right is ‘betting’ on a ‘single’ man out of 3.1 Billion. Either the description is narrow enough to confirm that’s the guy or not and you can judge if that is a reasonable conclusion from the process presented to get to that conclusion.
I know how the guy on the right found his man and I think he confirmed his method.
How did the FBI confirm the result on the left, this is just a rambling bragging statement with no person place or thing to check?

Hi all, I'm embarking on my first tank and I want to do it using the walstad method. I've gotten into watching Father Fish recently and up until today I was going to go with his methods. Now I'm starting to question his methods after doing more research and looking at posts on other sub reddits where people are calling him out. Unfortunately I already bought a pack of his substrate soil, but it hasn't arrived yet and it wasn't that expensive. I want to start a walstad tank but I think I will only get information from here and other science based forums etc. I have a 95 L corner tank. Can you please let me know any useful tips and where the best places to start are for a walstad tank? I will of course read her book first as well.

I’ve seen people say that they won’t go back to insta reels because it’s awful, I agree why can’t I pause the video?, but how do people feel about YouTube shorts? It’s mostly slime videos, Simpson episodes and random people I’m not following. But it seems fine so far.
Plus it has the Reddit stories I like to watch while I eat, and I can pause the video!

2025.01.19 15:05 Fragrant-Session-117 Getting prescribed bigger dose just to stretch it out further?
I am a cheap/ value guy...starting weight 274 and 6'2. 1 month in I am doing to 256 pounds. Push ups/ situps 20,000 steps a day... I got my first 1 ml (1/1 blend) from provider and have been taking 0.20 ml and it's been working for me...didn't want to get side effects so taking 0.2 instead of 0.25. Provider sent me email asking it I wanted to go up to 0.5 dose. I said sure as I though maybe I won't have to pay a month while I stretch it out...I got 2.5 ml for new month and plan on stretching it 10 weeks (between 0.2 to .025 ml)...will get off monthly subscription or simple tell them want bigger dosage and try to stretch much longer....
Anyone else do this? Medicine says it's good for a year.....might need to use more if ineffective but will cross that bridge when I get there...
