Make this make sense somebody. And, I might be screwed.
I get testing for nicotine for insurance purposes, to a degree. Smokers/vapers/chewers will cost more in the long run.
But this is my first experience being tested for nicotine as a condition of employment. Also of note: they're not testing for alcohol or metabolites. Because yes, no one ever comes to work drunk or hungover, no one is addicted to alcohol, there are no health consequences associated with heavy drinking. /s

I like to smoke or vape when I'm out with friends, so sue me. I'm not a regular user but I'm not clean of cotinine. I have 8 days.
I can phone a friend and borrow some clean pee but do we know for sure it's a urine test? Could be blood or saliva too. Can't borrow those.
And here I am trying to beat a drug test for a perfectly legal substance that in no way impairs the user. Hate it here.

2025.01.19 16:30 moewzerss 6 weeks since I hit my head/whiplash and symptoms still persisting
The 7th of December, I hit my head. I hit my head in such a way that my neck went back quickly as I fell down. I didn't have much pain or symptoms immediately, but I noticed disorientation a few hours after the event. I had also been dealing with neurological Lyme and post-treatment lyme syndrome before that (neurological symptoms started in August, got on doxy in September, was mostly recovered by end of November). Anyway, the symptoms were pretty bad the week following the event. Symptoms include headache, disorientation, dizziness (not severe as lyme but still there), head/neck strain, vision issues, tinnitus. Went to my pcp the Thursday after the event and he said that it should get better within a week. It did get better, but the symptoms come and go. I will have days where I feel bad and then days where I feel symptom free, only to be feeling bad a few days later, and the cycle continues. Cycles usually last about a week. Last Tuesday, the 3rd, I had a week of feeling 0 symptoms. Around Wednesday or Thursday, they came back and it feels really bad. I had an MRI done shortly after the incident (had one scheduled bec of my neurological issues) and everything came back "unremarkable".
What can I do about this? Im planning on seeing my pcp again this week. Any medications that can take the edge off? Im already on meclizine but that barely helps.

2025.01.19 16:30 Msyxxt Screen is completely white when joining a game.
For context, it's an old computer that was recently updated to Windows 10. So I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Anyhow, every time I join a game, my screen is just white. It joins me into the game, but the game doesn't load and it's just a white screen. I have gotten it to work ONCE but then it just went back to doing the white-screen again.
I've tried everything that I could think of, like updating and installing new graphics cards, tweaking with the properties of the ROBLOX app to try and get it to work, as well as going into the graphics settings of the computer to change those, but everything I do just produces no results in fixing the problem. Is there anything I can do to actually fix it?
I would appreciate some advice, thank you.

My progressive car insurance runs out in February,the car is paid off in full and owned by me. I am leaving the country to backpack Asia till June this year and am not sure what to do about coverage or a lapse in coverage. The car will be stored on a safe street with my grandparents. Progressive told me I can lower all my coverages to the minimum but cannot be placed on a storage hold nor do I qualify for comprehensive coverage only. The minimum if I lower my coverage is $323 for 6 months, while my regular policy would be $1,000 for 6 months. Should I just cancel my insurance and risk a higher premium when I come back because of my lapse in coverage? Or pay the $323 as a retainer while I’m gone.
