 | Any ideas what this wood might be? It's from a pile of scrap at my local makerspace, had been planed from the very dark planks in pic 4. It's quite trippy in that the grain sort of disappears when you tilt the wood, and it almost shines. It's incredibly dusty when sanding. I’m 9 weeks out from my treatment being over (20/29 trays) and my dentist installed hooks for elastics running from the inside of the upper pallet to the lower front canines.
All research indicates this is for a underbite but I had a 4mm overjet ?
Is this a mistake ?

Having a hard time staying positive. I do a combination of online dating, in-person speed dating and going to events that aren't centered around dating. I feel like whenever I'm online or meeting singles in person, everybody just centers their focus on the one or two really attractive people who showed up and I don't get any follow up because I'm very average in looks and higher than average intelligence. And when I go to shows or concerts that I enjoy, everybody is there with a significant other. It gets very discouraging and I'm wondering if anyone else feels this way?

Why play the game if you don't win anything? ! Pdl or anything related to that and stupid with the time you spend playing lol you can simply graduate or do a degree in some profession, you can even spend money on friends and companions, honestly the game doesn't reward you in anything and rank in a dead game is kind of useless just to inflate the ego.
