My brother was a couple of years older than me and he used to have all kinds of interesting things in his room. Sometimes when he was away I used to sneak into his room and see what I could find.
I still today remember the first time I got my hands on a dvd that he had hidden poorly in a book shelf. Just seeing the cover of it made me heart rate increase, I immediately knew it was not something I was supposed to see. I stood there holding it, trying to estimate the risk of getting caught. Our parents were working and my brother usually stayed away for a while so I decided to go for it.
Filled with excitement from doing something I knew I shouldn't I left my brother's room with my catch, heading for the TV in the living room on the same floor. I remember feeling very mischievous when I pulled out the dvd from its cheap paper cover and loaded it into the player below the TV. Seeing the menu on the TV screen, with one scene for each chapter filled me with anticipation. What I was about to see would definitely affect my future interests. That first time I only dared to watch a short while before running back to my brother's room, trying to leave the dvd in the same way as I found it. Back in my room, I was both feeling guilty for having done something I wasn't allowed to do and excited for having seen something I had never seen before. It also left me feeling aroused, with a tingling feeling in my body. After that first time I would take the opportunity to watch my brother's dvd almost every time both he and my parents were away. I remember feeling ashamed for doing so, but the excitement and the satisfaction it eventually gave me made it so worth it. Still I regret this today because I did something I shouldn't.

I am conflicted here. I turned 39 a couple of days ago. Low ovarian reserve. I’ve read It Starts with The Egg. I am on all the supplements and we switched to Mediterranean diet.
I have been smoking ~7 cigarettes a day and drinking at least a bottle of wine a day since my MC in June.
I had stopped working out in April when I found out I was pregnant.
Since then, we went to a fertility clinic. All the tests done for RPL. No cause found. The RE thinks I am about three years from perimenopause. I told her in August about starting smoking again and she said “well, stop.” Easier said than done.
We are supposed to start egg retrieval cycles next month. We’d like two kids, so the RE estimates four ER cycles.
If anyone here has experience with life style changes improving egg retrieval outcomes, please tell me those stories.
I think I need to quit smoking, get back in the gym, cut down or quit drinking before we start egg retrieval cycles. But I’ll be three months older, but from what I’ve read, there are impactful changes I need to make at home before we start. Money is a consideration. I want good results for the money, or at least I know I did everything I could to make the results as good as possible.
Or do we just start cycles?

2025.01.19 17:40 Global-Plankton3997 Post-COVID, people have been recording vids inside their job and risked their job on either YT, r/AmazonFC, and other outlets. Every recording on YouTube that I see about an AA working their job = A new customer in the making.
One day, Amazon will get tired and waste their time trying to catch people who video record inside of the building and take pics in there. Nowadays, I think there should be acceptions to this and they should change their rules a little bit to make HR and LP investigations easier. That's just my opinion.
For the people that will tell me "it's for liability purposes, which was why phones were not allowed in the building pre-COVID," just know that every company will fall one day. I can imagine what would happen if Amazon returned to their "no phones in the building" policy, just like FedEx and UPS.

i made a post a couple hours after tiktok was banned, but i'll repeat some of what I said.
I dowloaded and made a tiktok account when I was living in the US. I live in italy now, and have for over 4 years. Before, when I opened the app, it showed me the typical notification of the ban. But i just opened the app out of instinct and that message was no longer there. It just tells me that i dont have connection but i do. I can go to my settings and drafts, but cant post my drafts or access any favorites or use the fyp. can anyone tell me what i could possibly due to be able to use Tiktok again. i can log into another account i made about a year ago on my computer, but i would really like to use my main again.
i am hopeful that somehow this ban will be reversed. any help would be gratefully appreciated. my location in the app store is set to italy, as is in my settings, and tiktok can access my location. it has been like this since way before the ban.
