Hey guys, found this app that lets you have a Freakoff with your friends. Its for iOS and you need at least 3 people to play it. It's kind of like Psych or Quiplash, where you answer questions about your friends and vote on the funniest answer, but the difference is that when you tie you have to do a freaky minigame to break the tie. For example, one is called "Furry Convention" where you act like an animal for 30 seconds and if you laugh you lose. I think its really fun and it would be really cool if y'all could check it out and play with your friends. I would love to try to make this thing blow up, so please share it with as many people as you can if you think it's funny. Thanks guys :D

Hello! Casual lurker and total noob to networking here, I'm reading through the posts here in the sub and have a few books in the mail to help me build a foundational knowledge on the subject, but, I had a broad question that I would love your insights on in the meantime.
I'll be building a house soon (attached photo is the house plan) and want to take advantage of the time I have now and the future access offered by new construction to put in the groundwork for a solid home network. My internet use is recreational but I am an aspiring user who wants to squeeze a little more out of technology than the average joe and want to build an infrastructure for future me who will hopefully be smarter than present me.
Any insight into things I should be considering, your cautions and recommendations, and anything in general would be really welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for your time!

Hello, I thought I’d share my experiences with DNA fragmentation in case it’s helpful for anyone.
We started trying in my late 40s, and I’m now 50. Unfortunately, we experienced a few miscarriages early on. Initially, I had only undergone a standard sperm test, which gave me an “OK/average” score. Based on this, our consultant at the time assured us there was nothing to worry about, so the doctors focused their investigations on my partner.
It wasn’t until we changed doctors and went to the Lister Hospital in London that I was recommended to take a sperm DNA fragmentation test. To my shock, the results revealed I had a high level of DNA fragmentation, which essentially classified me as infertile.
This news was obviously devastating for both of us. My partner’s gynaecologist then suggested we see an andrologist / urologist, as there could be underlying issues like a varicocele—a common abnormality in the veins of the testicles that can affect semen quality and male fertility. I was initially skeptical, thinking I’d notice if something like that were wrong. However, that turned out not to be the case.
After further testing with the andrologist (Tet Yap, who is brilliant), it was confirmed that I did indeed have a varicocele and also low testosterone levels. The treatment began with a procedure to remove the varicocele, followed by Clomid to boost my testosterone production. The procedure went smoothly, and I responded very well to the Clomid. In fact, my testosterone levels at one point were comparable to those of a teenage boy! They’ve since stabilized at an optimal level.
Three months later, my latest sperm test showed significant improvement—I’m now well within the normal range. It’s such a relief to finally have a bit of positive news after everything we’ve been through so far.
To summarize what I believe worked for me:
- Addressing the varicocele and low testosterone – The varicocele removal and Clomid treatment helped a lot
- Adjusting my exercise routine – I think my previous long-distance running habit may have negatively impacted my testosterone levels and increased heat in the groin area, so I replaced it with weightlifting and jogging.
- Lifestyle changes – I reduced alcohol and caffeine intake, but still allowed myself the occasional treat (a glass of red wine or coffee now and then is fine in moderation).
- Avoiding excessive heat – I completely avoided saunas and hot baths, as well as anything that might overheat the groin area.
- Using a standing desk – Sitting for extended periods can also be problematic, so I set up a standing desk to help mitigate this issue.

I need some advice. I booked a ticket to watch Interstellar at PVR, and I’m going alone. Like, I didn’t even ask my friends if they wanted to join cus I was scared the tickets might get sold out (IMAX was already almost full, only front row seats were left ). So I just booked one for me without thinking much.
I’ve only gone to the movies alone once before, back in 2021 to watch Brahmastra, and at that time, most people were wearing masks so it didn’t feel as awkward. But now with no masks and more people around, I’m already feeling nervous about walking in alone.
How do y’all do it? Do you ever feel awkward watching movies alone? Any tips to not overthink or feel like people are staring? (I know they’re probably not, but still 🫠)

I was wondering where everyone stores there Seestars between days of shooting? The case is kinda hard to get the seestar in and out and I feel like I am squeezing it hard to get it out.
I also feel anxious about leaving it out because of dust etc.
So I was wondering if I'm being too anxious and how you all store your Seestars? I feel like putting it in and taking it out of the case will do more harm than good. Especially using it daily right now. Maybe they are more durable then I think?

Hello. Recently I purchasesd GOG extension for Junk-Store. With some struggle I forced to work extension on my Steam Deck. I tried to install Descent: Freespace game from my library. Unfortunately I receiving error each time I tried to install the game: "Error parsing json result Expecting value: line 2 column 1 (char 1)". Maybe somebody can help me with this problem?
P.S. I tried to install some other games and there no problems.

I’ve been trying NAP synthesis for a while, and I don’t think my yields are great. I followed Dug’s procedure— 1g AQ HCO3, 0.86g NH4ClO4, 0.43g NiCO3, boil under reflux in water for 6 minutes while stirring, decant, let precipitate under ultrasonication for 15 minutes, decant once again, and let that slow crystallize. When all is said and done, and all of the NAP is collected, I find myself getting a 60% yield at best. From 1g of AQ HCO3, I get ~0.6g NAP. Any pointers?

I tried using a regular sharpener on my elf lip liner pencil but it seems like its SO soft that the blade just destroys the product rather than shaving down the sides. I love the product itself, I'm just confused as to how I could sharpen it without losing more product.
