Monk is wildly fun. My only gripe is the strategy of the concept, which I loved, kind of falls away as you level up. Instead of shocking a boss, or culling an enemy for power charges, I am just attacking, because spirit gems. Instead of saving charges to strategically wipe out a pack or a bell specifically for a boss, I can really just run around ice striking everything, and use bell if I want, for flavor.
This seems to be most classes though. I wish they would make Spirit Skills more of a side concept away from skill gems. Where you have a baseline of 1 spirit gem, that goes up to 2 or 3 by the end of Act 6 (when its added), with some end game content to unlock a 4th. That way I am not sacrificing my entire kit to run OP spirit gems. Tune down how good a single ability can be through supports. This would also require a complete change to how end game mobs and maps work, since you would be much slower if you cant just 1 tap the entire screen using a basic punch.
Of course, I think you should be able to get OP to that extent in end game. The issue is, I got to that point in Act 3, before Cruel. I got a weapon with +6 skills and 320dmg with 13% crit in Act 3.... The variance in weapons should be completely revamped tbh. I shouldn't coast through, easily, the entire end game and cruel because the drop rewards can be so awful or so god tier regardless of the items actual tier. I would have much preferred if campaign weapons literally couldn't roll as high as end game maps. Then tier 1-4 has a much higher base, and lower ceiling on weapons, so on average I would get a major upgrade. Then tier 5-8, same thing. Experts should have a far higher base, but a lower ceiling. Then introduce Tier1 experts as commons in tier 9-12. Every tier after should be DRAMATICALLY higher in difficulty, and introduce FAR more concepts that get you started into getting on your way to Pinnacles in a more reasonable fashion. T13s should have Tier 2s as commons and the idea of climbing should feel like a very reasonable farm to get strong enough for the next tier concept, that fairly accurately measures your ability to fight against Pinnacle bosses.
At least, id prefer that much more to rolling over everything, feeling like im going nowhere, because a god tier weapon dropped in Act 3 that gave me no upgrades, no feeling of progression, until literally T14 when I got my current weapon, which somehow was a 250dmg base that rolled 260 lightning and 120 Ice dmg with 25% AS on a Gothic with 11.5% crit. That is the only thing that beat my ACT 3 weapon. Its really hard atm to even feel like me going up in maps is changing anything at all, because the variance is just far too high, which leads to people getting uber lucky, like me, and having no tangible progress after, or getting uber unlucky, and feeling like the variance is so high they might as well quit because they can't find a decent weapon in 200 hours, which would be my friend. We are also both SSF, so no trading, its a weak concept anyways.

They're there in the source files, I've decrypted and unpacked them multiple times, still nothing. Anyone have any idea what's going on, has this ever happened to any of you before?

Ive been watching porn for about 25 years, but most of that was in moderation. I got what I think is pied, but honestly giving up porn didnt fix that the last time, so maybe theres more to it. Nothing a bluechew cant fix, though. My marriage is great for the most part, but our sex life is terrible. Even though I had planned to start today, I watched one scene on purpose, because I was watching bar rescue and I noticed some familiar faces. This guy who went to my school was the main problem with the bar and part of what contributed to their lack of customers was that he allowed a porn to be filmed in the bar. Naturally, I got curious and watched the video, to see what they were describing. Im actually proud that I managed to keep both hands on the phone and not watch anymore porn, afterwards. Even though, i consider todays porn viewing as more of a fact finding mission, ill officially restart nofap tomorrow.

I have a ~$11,000 balance left with VCFS on my XC60 I purchased a few years ago and I am trying to pay it off ASAP to reduce my DTI ratio for mortgage financing approval.
I received a payoff amount on 1/16 via the app that was good through 1/26 so I wrote a check and had it mailed via FedEx to the overnight address listed. It is expected to arrive 1/20 but I made the mistake of not using a certified check and noticed the disclaimer that it can take up to 9 business days to process personal checks.
With the holiday Monday I am worried that with only 4 business days between the next business day and 1/26 that it will not be processed in time and the actual payoff amount will be different by the time it is processed.
What happens in this case? Considering there would only like a couple dollars max left on my balance, would they just apply this to the principal of the loan? Would I still have my same monthly payment with a balance of like $1.50 left?
Frustrating that in 2025 we still have to mail paper checks via snail mail…

I know he goes through peaks and troughs throughout.
But the hatred/ loneliness of his world would turn most into a super villain. The fact there is still semblance of a decent person within (seen more towards the end of the series) shows the strength of a good heart.
If I'd faced what he had, I would be living in a lair making plans to nuke the town.

Reposting with without YT link as my original post was deleted.
Following the directions from a YouTube video to install Decky. It was suggested first enabling Developer mode in Deck settings, and Enable Unified Frame Management, but this toggle doesn't seem to exist for me. So I just left Developer mode enabled without changing any developer settings. Decky installed fine.
Plugins that seem to be working fine:
- Animation Changer
- IsThereAnyDeal for Deck
- ProtonDB Badges
- RadiYo!
- Storage Cleaner
CSS Loader (not sure if the issue is with the plugin or loaded themes)
I could not get the following themes to work at all:
- Game Cover Reflections

- Mini Carousel
- Centered Home
- Round
- Tilted Home
What am I missing?

I am trying to play some MEIOU 2.60.4, but the fonts burn my eyes out. Before I used Better Font, but the last versions crash the game, and 1.29.6 can't enlarge the IU. Anyone knows of some fonts mods that can works with MEIOU 2.60.4/ EU4 1.29.6? Or some other way to make the font more readable?
