Deutschland ist überschüttet mit Herausforderungen und dringend notwendigen Reformen, aber der Wahlkampf dreht sich fast ausschließlich um Abschiebungen?
Und dann sind die Leute wieder enttäuscht, weil es wieder 4 Jahre keine Politik „für das Volk“ gab… hat ja bei der Wahl auch keiner eingefordert 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've always been a 20%+ tipper, even as restaurant prices have risen. I was under the belief that we tip servers because they make under minimum wage. I recently discovered that Minnesota law requires employers to pay all workers at least minimum wage ($11.13) plus their normal tip share. I know that $11/hr is not a lot of money these days, but I'm considering lowering my tips to 10% to compensate for the raise in employee wages and menu prices. Does this seem like a fair compromise?

2025.01.19 23:02 Ky_37 Why I will (probably) never play this game again.

I’m sure none of you guys know me or recognize me, but I am crowfthrs. I was a dedicated CoS player and discord member for about 1 year, so dedicated in fact that I had every species up until the release of Idrabark. Because, that’s when I quit the game.
I want to vent my frustration about this game, because as much as I loved this game, it drained the shit out of my psyche in more ways than and I feel like describing my experiences will help me properly let go.

Player base: -KOSing is always a hot topic of course, so I will give my stance on the matter. KOSing is fine, targeting is not. If things are getting frustrating, it’s not rocket science, either take a break or server hop. I’m not going to tell anyone to feel a certain way about it because everyone has different views, but this is MY opinion.

-This was the single, biggest reason as to why I left CoS. I was threatened many, many times for KOSing. It was especially frustrating because the entire point of the game to me was to survive and fight, so I couldn’t understand why almost every time I tried to KOS, I would get absolutely dogpiled in chat. I get it, there are some bad apples in every community and people can have bad days! But that doesn’t justify having my life threatened over a fucking Roblox game or being ruthlessly insulted just because I was enjoying the PvP aspect of the game after a long day. There came a point when I realized that this game was taking up way too much time in my life, and significantly affected my mental health. I will be grateful just this once for being harassed in chat because it influenced me to make a great decision. :)
-I ESPECIALLY hated clans, they were even worse. One specific clan was full of hypocrites, besides like two normal people in their clan. I will not name them out of basic human decency but they ruthlessly targeted me for getting food (one of their friend’s baby Ghart that happened to be nearby) who cried about it in chat and decided to have all of their friends come after me, calling ME petty for fighting back.
-In the two bottom SSs above, I meant to ask if Uleolm had energy breath. Not Olatua and I failed to reciprocate it in time before I got this response. Pretty uncalled for right? I’m not sure how that message didn’t even got reported at the time lol.

Staff Thankfully, I myself have not had too many negative experiences with staff, but I’ve seen the way some of them act towards others and lie behind other’s backs in the “Why I Left CoS” carrd. The only real problem I directly faced was a small lack of acceptance for criticism. When the controversial Halaqual redesign was shown to the discord, I was not happy with how it looked, specifically in the face. I was not the only person who expressed this opinion at the time. I got warned twice for the underlined messages. To be fair hate is a strong word, at that time, I was not thinking rationally and I shouldn’t have used that to describe how I felt about the design because looking back at it now my comment does seem a little over the top. Other than that, staff are a little iffy in my opinion but not horrible from my own experiences.
“Cluttered” Designs Overall, I think my favorite aspect of the game besides PvP were the creatures. But I didn’t really enjoy playing the newer SPs. A lot of my favorite creatures that I used to play like Ether, Hellion, and Viridex got very complicated designs which upset me a bit. I personally dislike the way they’re going with new creatures and redesigns, because some of them feel like they don’t fit in CoS itself.

2025.01.19 23:02 SomeRandomAbbadon What to do if the player makes the less reasonable, but more in character decision?

I have recently (as a player) saw a following situation: our party needed to enter the city and the only way to do so was through a secret opening in the walls. We all sneaked through it, expect for the Paladin, who insisted on going through the main gate, despite the guards who were supposed not to let anyone in. What's worse, ghe Paladin have ended up butchering the talk with the guards and not only didn't get in the city, she also got imprisoned. We had to go back and get her out. I think she felt that she got punished for trying to roleplay her character and was pretty salty about it.
Now, don't get me wrong, I understand why our GM did what he did, but that kind of situations are always quite tricky to resolve - at one hand you want to reward your players for doing what their characters would, even if that's not the optimal solution, at the other you do not want to reward them for doing something stupid or reckless, just because "that's what their character would do".
What would you do in this situation? Or with this problem in general?

I was playing for hours (it's been years and I loved it!) but my game kept crashing. Also, I downloaded so much bad CC which meant everyone (including toddlers) were wearing the high heels and adult shirts and the game went crazy. So I uninstalled everything, starting fresh. Still I love some pre-made sims and great hair. Where to find that nowadays? And how can I make sure I don't get the weird clothes for everyone anymore? Thanks so much in advance! Can't wait to fully play again
