So I had a store running, was gaining traction and getting orders and hosted a Black Friday sale. This is where I received my first few “high risk” orders, but did not really know of the consequences of these orders. My products take 3-5 weeks to produce and fulfill which was plastered all over my website and customers are aware. I also email all customers and keep them updated on the status.
However not even 2 weeks in, I received 3 chargebacks on the high risk orders which is where things started to change and become difficult. I fulfilled all other orders but these 3 chargebacks have caused me to not receive my payouts from every other order fulfilled and when I talk to Shopify they say “your payouts from fulfilled orders are being used towards the 3 chargebacks you have, once chargebacks are resolved you will receive the payouts” which I do not even know whether to believe because the payouts were more in money than the chargebacks.
I am so over it now, as I have created a new store because my account was wrongfully terminated for over a week which was messing with my sales even more so I created a new store to not miss out. I am planning on deleting the old store but I want my payouts and funds from the orders I fulfilled on it, so my question is right now I have about 4 chargebacks on old store, if I cancel the orders on 4 of these chargebacks will Shopify allow me to access the payouts that they have been holding from me finally? And will I receive back my 15 dollar chargeback fee on all of them?

I have misfire on my 2.0L 2015 Volkswagen Jetta. I had multiple random misfires on cylinders 2 and 3, and after changing the spark plugs I now only have a misfire on cylinder 2. Reading online I saw the most probable cause was the direct ignition coil, and the best way to diagnose this is to swap the ignition coil from one cylinder to the other, so I did this with cylinders 1 and 2. My car turned over, but would quickly stall out. My father explained to me that my car would never run with swapped ignition coils, but everything i read online insists this is the best way to diagnose the issue.
After all of this, i swapped the coils back to their respective positions and the car ran fine, and my father insisted I rev the engine to check for the misfire, but it never happened. I also revved it in-gear and the misfire never showed. He thinks the coil connection was loose and I fixed it by plugging them back in properly.
What's your take? Was my father right or my sources? Any advice for my car?

Okay, I am not to the donation point yet since my baby is still cooking but I’m a planner. Is there a women’s/childrens shelter, teen help center, a food shelf, or some sort of displaced family organization that would take things like: unopened formula, used or new bottles, gently used clean clothes, baby necessities type items (like diapers) etc? I’d rather help families in need knowing things have gotten so expensive in the near future than try to deal with or create garbage waste of perfectly good items.

2025.01.19 20:53 Quiet-Mortgage9616 Bad reaction, bad artist, both?
I would like to get some advice from the community but I’ve got some anxiety about posting my tattoo/s. I know my artist personally and I honestly didn’t love my experience so I’m not really comfortable going back to them to ask questions and I really don’t want them to just stumble upon a online post and wig out. Especially if it’s nothing and just my body being weird. I’ll detail what’s happening below, but if anyone here is comfortable DMing me and telling me your location and whether you’re an experienced artist I’ll share the pictures in chat. They’re not risqué or anything.
Anyway so I got a few small tattoos in one sitting about 7 months ago. These were by no means my first tattoos ever. One of them didn’t heal very well and the color is not saturated in some areas but that’s not really what I’m worried about. One of them I thought healed fine and then about a month ago all of the sudden it got a hard bump on it that subsequently opened up into a literal hole in my skin. It took a couple of weeks for that to heal and it definitely affected the legibility of some script in it. Fast forward to now and the same thing has happened. My first thought was that it is infected but how can that happen 7 mo after the initial appointment? I have another hole and underneath that I can feel a hard knot like it needs to drain. The skin is red and inflamed and some times it can be painful. I’m also curious about some of the line work… I can’t tell if it’s good or bad honestly. It’s not like any of my other tattoos that healed smooth and crisp. Some of the line work is raised some of it is almost patchy? I know it’s pretty impossible to diagnose good/bad line work without actually seeing it. I’m mostly worried about what seems to be repeat infections or my body rejecting the ink. If that’s what’s happening, should I be done getting tattooed? Is my only option to fix an illegible tattoo (due to the healing of these wounds) to laser it off?
