Hello all,
Just to preface, I haven't had any power issues with my ranger. But I was Autozone the other day and got my alternator tested just to see what it said. They tested it and said the alternator was bad. Specifically, something about the diodes was bad and the guy said that that caused the alternator to extract power from the battery itself.
Like I said, I haven't encountered any power issues, but I'm curious to know what would be a good alternator for when the time comes? I digged through the forum for an answer but some people are saying you shouldn't buy aftermarket and stick to Ford (which I assume would be difficult today considering the truck is 20 years old), and others are saying Bosch of Motorcraft are good. What are y'alls opinions?

Title. I'm trying to use the GX10 with an amp, I do not want to use amp sims at all, however I feel like I have to use Transparent at minimum to hear guitar input and have it sent to the amp. I can hear the guitar if I activate pedals that I have in the send/return w/o an amp sim but it sounds poor.
Also, do you have any tips on configuring the gx10 for use with an amp just in general?
