Just finished the auction house mission that sets up going to start the heist. Thids time I actually bought the figurine and destroyed it for the treasure. It's nearby the village where the old cannibal couple lives which I don't think I've ever revisited. Saw a couple of enemy markers which I found interesting but thought maybe a random mob spawned there for some reason. Found 4 big alghouls with on top of the corpses of the old couple and thought what a neat detail but after beating them geralt also says a line about it " being poetic justice the corpses of those cannibals got eaten by necrophages." Just showing appreciation for a tiny detail I haven't known about after having played this game over the years.

I have been thinking about moving out for a long time now. I'm a 19 year old female going on 20 this year, and I really want to distant myself from my parents. I plan on staying with my boyfriend and his mum, until I'm back at uni, from there I will be independent in another city. I have savings but I plan to get a part time job. However, I feel guilty and scared that I will lose not just my relationship with my parents but also my extended family. I'm more scared about how they will react then the difficulties I know I will have to face. I have always tried to please them and do what they want me to do, but it's affecting me to not be able to grow as a person.
I love my parents but they want to be involved in all aspects of my life, especially my relationship with my boyfriend of 2 years. My parents disapprove of him as he's of a different culture and they deem him not educated as he chose to not go to uni and do an apprenticeship instead. My boyfriend has been trying to get on their good side for a while, but they still don't want to approve of him. They always say that its okay to date but to not take it seriously. They scare me by saying that he will get sick of me, that there is other people I will meet, and that its better to be single to have fun. My dad always says that he regrets marrying young. They allow me to see him once a week for a few hours, but anymore than that they become annoyed. Its constant yelling, lecturing, and judgement. They always find a way to complain about some aspect of my life. I don't want to be stuck in this position any longer, I want to live my own life.
I'm thinking of moving out soon. I've already got my important documents sorted and other belongings. I'm hesitant that I might be making a wrong decision and that I will regret making this big of a decision at my age, because I know they will use it against me and never look at me the same way. I have experienced a year of not living with them, and I was just alone. I found it freeing to be able to do what I wanted. I also found it lonely at times, but my boyfriend was always one call away. Should I just go for it?

Hey, so I want to go for the platinum for this game. I watched a tips video and they talked about a NG+ exploit. Assuming you know what the exploit is and the difficulty trophies, I’m wondering if this glitch still works in 2025? I don’t want to start up on easy mode and then have to do like 4 more play throughs just to get to survivor.  | After upgrading to an iPhone 16 Pro, I got frustrated with the intermittent charging so I 3D printed and upholstered a charger adapter. My first thought was to rip out the OEM charging pad, design a new insert with a 65 watt USB-C for laptop charging. I made a few 3D scans and ultimately decided against the big mod so I changed course with the goal of zero modifications to the car. I came up with this little press in adapter and was able to tuck the cord into the trim and plug it into the charge port under the armrest. The fabric is a similar alcantara suede, but is a little off on the color. This fits: apple iPhone 16 Pro, 13 Pro Max, 12 (all with cases). Please let me know what you think. For context I really struggle with my mental health and about a year or so ago I went to an intensive outpatient program after saying I wanted to end things. There I ended up making two amazing friends, and I truly mean amazing. They love me unconditionally and support me and just want what’s best for me in a way that no one has ever cared for me in my whole life- being brought up in the borg not even my parents treat me with this kind of love. Every time I’m with them I feel like I can breathe for once and truly be myself. They go out of their way to make sure I get to do stuff like carve my first pumpkin or celebrate my birthday but there’s this sadness after that’s so gut wrenching and I don’t know how to explain it. It’s like how can these people who about a year ago were complete strangers treat me better and love me more than my own biological family? I just don’t understand. The borg says the world is all horrible monsters who want you dead but so far they’ve treated me kinder and with more love and respect than I’ve ever had in my whole life and it just breaks my heart. I know I should be happy and I am but at the same time there’s grief that’s come with it knowing my own family will never be able to love me like this and it just really hurts. I just want my mom to love me a fraction of the amount they do. I could die and my mom wouldn’t care and my friends would be gutted if anything happened to me. Having truly been loved has shown me how much I’ve been neglected my whole life and it’s caused me to grieve the life I’ve never had and never will. I have to choose my own family and it hurts. How do you get over the grief of a life you’ll never have?
