Hey, wanted some advice. I am taking AUD this Friday. It’s my first CPA exam, and while I have experience as an auditor I am a little under halfway getting through Becker watching lectures at 1.5 speed and taking notes with the video and outline.
Alot of the content looks familiar, but I know the small things can trip you up. What would be the best route given my time frame and situation?
I can’t move the date at this point. My NTS runs out same day so if I change the date I’ll be out the money spent. Even if I don’t pass I still want to give it my best shot.

Harold and Reginald (3 years old or so) were brothers and a bonded pair of males. When Harold died in late 2023, Reginald seemed just fine, but I didn't want him to be without a friend so I started my search for another male that he might be compatible with. I found Elliot (about 18 months old) in 2024 and they seemed to hit it off. Unfortunately lately I've noticed that while they don't ever draw blood and they don't truly fight, Elliot is "bullying" Reg. Constant rumblestrutting, following him, getting in his face, chasing him away from veggies (despite this he gets plenty of veg and food and hasn't lost any weight) and being a general douche towards poor Reggie. They're both intact males and hairless, and Elliot has pink skin - I've noticed he occasionally has some shallow scratches on his back although I've never seen Reg attack him/assert dominance and I think it's possible Elliot is getting excited and running through the divider too fast and bumping into the wire and scratching himself.
I've tolerated it for a few months because I assumed they were just working out who was dominant and who wasn't, but it hasn't gotten any better. I'm feeling really bad for Reg being regularly harassed because he's so sweet and timid. I can separate them (they don't get pissy through the bars of the cage when they're separated and they would both have plenty of space) but I don't want them to lose the enrichment of having a cagemate. What would you do?

I’m 36F married to 35M with 2 kids. We’ve been together 16 years this April. My husband is the love of my life. We met when we were 19 (him) & 20 (me) and immediately fell madly in love. We probably have hardly been apart since we met we just bonded very quickly and in many ways are best friends. We actually went to middle school and part of high school together. I found out after we started dating that I was always his biggest school crush. His friends and family have always told me I was his dream girl and it was very sweet that we ended up together. Now, with that being said I will never claim that we had a fairytale relationship, as much as, there were many wonderful times we spent together over the years there were many bad times and red flags unfortunately that I chose to ignore as well. I guess you could say blinded by love? Which is the case for most who choose to ignore things they probably shouldn’t. I also had never trusted anyone my entire life because my insane father burned it into my brain that no one could ever be trusted. But with my husband, I gave him my full heart my trust my soul everything because he is a good person. He does have a good soul. He does have a good heart, but like many of us in this crazy world we have our Demons and some of us choose to be open about them, and some of us feel shame and choose to hide them Until they surface and we can’t anymore. The main red flag in our relationship which started early on and continued for about 14 years of the 16 we’ve been together was that my husband was an extreme compulsive liar. After you’ve been with somebody that long and you get to know their family and they’re close friends, the stupid lies that didn’t need to be ever told get exposed. I brushed them off because they were about having a car or smoking cigarettes or things that I considered minor or small that he was ashamed of, and hid from me in over to impress me in the beginning of our relationship. The cigarette smoking lasted 10 years I was not aware through 9 of those and then after I gave birth to our first child found out that he was a functioning hard-core alcoholic I found this out due to women’s intuition and the fact that he would become defensive and aggressive anytime I tried to get into “his car “and the day I couldn’t take it anymore and looked when he was sleeping I opened his trunk and a humongous pile of tall cans and empty alcohol containers poured out like a waterfall in front of my feet. Now that we had a young child involved I had decided enough was enough and told him I was done with the relationship if he would not be willing to seek help because I was now a mother and I needed to put my daughter who was three months old at the time first. This was enough for him to break down and tell me the truth about everything he had ever lied to me about throughout our relationship, which included Messages between him and two other girls that I could tell he had initiated and they had been lied to, but must have felt something wasn’t right because they weren’t reciprocating his advances or compliments and discontinued speaking with him immediately once I reached out to them. I also discovered during that time that he was pretty highly addicted to pornography, and was putting money into it for video chatting. Now the porn I wasn’t super upset over b/c I feel like it’s a pretty natural thing that most men enjoy, but I was upset that he tried to hide that part of his sexuality from me the entire relationship we had and had spoken against it so much that I felt it was not something he would ever be into but come to find out he very much was.

I'm doing my first Self-Assessment tax return for the 2023-24 tax year as self-employmentl, and I’ve come across something that’s confusing me.
Here’s my situation:
- Turnover: £29,198
- Allowable expenses: £7,380
- Untaxed UK interest: £233
- Net profit: £21,818 (Turnover £29,198 - Allowable expenses £7,380)
- Income tax: £1,849.60 (Net profit of £21,818 - £12,570 personal allowance = £9,248 x 20%)
- Class 2 NICs: £179.40 (3.45 per week)
- Class 4 NICs: £554.88 (6% on £9,248)
But when I checked my Self-Assessment statement, it shows that I owe £3,113.32. This doesn’t include the first payment on account for 2024-25 (£1,466.96), just the total for 2023-24 tax and NICs.
Here’s what the Self-Assessment page says regarding NICs.
- Class 2 NICs due: £179.40
- Class 4 NICs due: £832.32

You know I really started to think I was on the path of healing. I was beginning to eat food outside of a gastritis diet, I was drinking a lot of water, I was having normal bowel movements life was good. Then I ate stuffed peppers yesterday and had a flare immediately, not a big deal it'll go away in a few hours. Wrong I thought I could sleep it off but I woke up 2 hours later and felt horrific tried to take a zofran but that didn't do anything I'm super nauseous and acidy and I can't stop burping. Considering my hiatal hernia I'm probably not gonna be able to throw up I just need some advice I can barely drink water and only got a egg down today plz help
