I (31f) am friends with a 56m (single/divorced) at work. We usually hang out in a group but twice we’ve hung out alone. Before Christmas he was describing his house to me then said I should come over some time. There was also a movie we had been talking about for months and it came out over Christmas. He suggested that we go see it so we did. He offered to pick me up but I picked him up because his place is on the way and mine isn’t. I paid him back for the movie. He paid for snacks although I didn’t get anything. I noticed they had wine there and he said we can have that at home..
During the movie he kept the popcorn rested on his knee closest to me the whole time (that could be politeness). He seemed aware of me and I think rubbed his head a couple of times and discreetly glanced in my direction. He joked a bit throughout the movie. Then we went back to his place and he showed me his property and before I left he gave me a hug. It felt friendly not romantic. Afterwards he texted me thanks for seeing the movie and driving. Then he said next time should have a drink of wine. Then on New Year’s Eve we texted a lot. He still texts me but at work we didn’t tell anyone we saw the movie and it feels like nothing happened.
Was it a date or no, and am I just someone he’s keeping on the back burner?

Hello! I recently started bouldering with very little beforehand knowledge (first time was in mid Dec w/some friends, signed up for a gym and started going 2x/week at start of January) I'm loving it so far! But as I try to do research and look towards online communities I'm seeing a lot of Lingo and I just want to make sure I'm in the loop of what people are talking about lol I've got that "send" is to complete the route (problem/project?) Which I'm assuming is from the word ascend - to climb
But what other slang/terminology would be useful for me to know (with definition please!)? Any other tips for beginners are also appreciated! :D

Looking at the interactive map on the website, there are 4 big states, whereas the "current" timeliness has 10 odd, I.e. hocjland, northland, middenland, etc.
What happened between these two periods to make there many more states? And was there always 4 states before the "current" timeline?
By current I mean circa 2500, I.e. Just before end times

My cat passed 3 weeks ago from what I understand was an infection. She was found to have fluid on her lungs which was identified as pus and therefore pyothorax.
Thought I would share the X Rays received. I see the fluid but wondered if there is anything else you are able to glean from these scans.
I note if you zoom in on the thorax fluid, there appears to be a tiny bright spot at the centre/top.

R&B star Tremaine Neverson, better known as Trey Songz, recently had an $11.2 million default judgment dismissed by a Las Vegas judge. The judgment stemmed from a November 2021 incident at The Cosmopolitan hotel involving an alleged assault on police officer Tyrelle Dunn.
Clark County District Court Judge Jacob Reynolds granted Neverson’s legal team 30 days to formally respond to the lawsuit. Neverson’s lawyers argued he was unaware of the legal proceedings until late 2024 when media coverage and fan messages brought the matter to his attention.
The case originated when Dunn claimed he was attacked by Neverson and his security team while trying to rescue his wife, who he alleges was being held against her will. The altercation reportedly left Dunn with serious injuries, including fractured eye sockets and a damaged nose, forcing him to miss work.
Though Dunn initially secured a judgment awarding $5 million for pain and suffering and another $5 million for punitive damages, Neverson’s attorneys challenged the validity of the legal service. Meanwhile, Las Vegas police concluded in March 2022 that Neverson would face no charges due to insufficient evidence.
Dunn’s attorneys plan to continue pursuing the case, with potential efforts to add Neverson’s security team as defendants. While Neverson maintains his innocence, the legal battle is far from over.

Does anyone know the amount of headshot damage a blue oni does? I was full shield and health and was somehow a one shot for a blue oni. Sometimes I question how I died when I pump someone full of shots and I’m taken down in 2 but this time really bothers me as I don’t feel like it was possible with 250 health.

I had an 11-hour print going overnight, this morning I woke up and it said it completed, but the model is clearly incomplete and the printhead stopped in the middle of printing an object. The printer interface says printing complete, and the bamboo handy app shows 75% complete layer-wise, but also says success and prompts me to print again. I'm transferring from UTS. I've got no friends studying CSE degrees at UNSW.
I pretty much soloed many group assignments at UTS, cause they were small in scope. "We" always got HDs. I got lucky halfway through the year and somehow found another student with similar grades to mine on Discord. He was a big help, across many units.
I doubt I'll meet someone like him again, cause us meeting on discord was pure happenstance.
I'm concerned about group assignments at UNSW, cause they're much bigger than the ones at UTS. I prolly won't be able to solo them.
I don't know how I'll find people to be in group assignments with. I have a feeling CSESoc is a big Selective/Private 99 atar circlejerk, and I doubt many second year transferees like me will be present there. I really want to get good grades on group projects.
I got credit for DESN1000, COMP1531, COMP3311, MATH1081. Rest were electives(free, comp, gen ed). I'm studying Software Engineering. Could you guys please tell me what core courses have group assignments?
