It's been a while since I could skate (COVID shut down the rink I was at), but now that I'm able to I'd like to get back into figure skating lessons.
I have my old skates that I bought when I first started, the rink fitted them for me back in 2020. I know NOTHING about brands so I just got whatever they said. The boot says "Jackson Artiste" and the blade says "Ultima Mark IV" and a 10. I painted on these skates ages ago and they look rough now xD
I ran across some black figure skates at a thrift shop that happened to be my size, so I grabbed them. They don't have such a rigid boot like my old ones, the part above the ankle is actually flexible. These say "Hyde athletic show" on the boot, with what looks like the name Chen written in the interior. The blade says "MK stainless steel made in England" and "10 1/6"
Would it be fine for me to use the black ones? Or should I keep using the Jackson ones I bought a while back.

I taught chasing you would relight a spark in you but the match broke everytime, I tried to light the flame to Inlight the spark of love I have for you , but u never saw it no matter hard I tried u just refused to take of your blindfold, nothing I say will matter I have to let go but why does it hurt why did u keep a metal twine around my heart wrapped so tight trying to escape the taughts and love I have for you, nothing I did ever worked even moving on hurts and doesn’t feel right, u never gave me closure u just block and run and get mad at me for screaming for you to hear me, I’ve never felt so helpless and worthless at the same time, I wish u knew the pain and dept of it all that u have caused me. Nothing will ever make this be ok. I’m leaving you and my heart and locking it up until I’m over you.. C respectfully don’t ever come back when things become clear in that cloudy mind of yours.

can anyone help me figure out what I should do. The leather sectional I purchased in May of 2024 caused a house fire in October of 2024. The house is a loss, it will be months before I can move back in and I still have payments left on the sofa that is now all burned up. I did have insurance but I feel like I should not have to keep paying for a sofa the burned my house down.

 | Bought 2 Earthquake Couch Potato CP-8 subwoofers and installed them in the corner seats for some supplemental under seat bass and they work amazingly! Really adds immersion to movies and music and was way cheaper than the real stealthtech from Lovesac. I originally ordered Monoproce SSW-12 12” slim subwoofer from Amazon but kept getting damaged ones from shipping so decided to try these Earthquake slim subs. It’s only 8” but 150 watts RMS so has some good power and is surprisingly deep. Used some 10” perforated mending plates to suspend the sub from the corners under the seat. Used all the built in hardware on the feet for the sub and the feet for the seat. the fireworks in Echo Park scare the crap out of my dog. right now the only guidelines I can think of are look for lots of white people or look for lots of trees. "look for lots of white people" sounds like an extremely racist housing guideline, and if the neighborhood's truly got a lot of trees, like Elysian Park or Runyon Canyon, it's also more likely to have coyotes. coyotes see my dog as a snack, and weirdly, I know from experience that coyotes are one of the only things in the universe that my dog is not afraid of. so they might try to eat him, and he would certainly try to either play with them or fight them.
anyway, also, with devastating fires raging in the hills and ruining lives left and right, I'm skittish about any of the really heavily forested neighborhoods for that reason also. TLDR neither of my guidelines are ideal, so: what's a better way to identify low-explosion neighborhoods?
