 | Thought some might find these pictures interesting. Was near dark water in Pocosin NWR in NE NC while hoping to photograph a large black bear (NE NC NWRs are known for black bear populations). Heard splashing in water and saw what appeared to be two very large snapping turtles mating. If someone knowledgeable about turtles can confirm/deny my assumption, I’d be interested.
