Hi! I'm, 24, digital artist and I'm trying to make a living with my art, but it's been difficult. I'm studying concept art and improving my portfolio and my goal is to either work in the gaming industry or as a freelancer, but I see so many very talented artists, far more than I am, having a hard time trying to live off their art and I'm starting to wonder if it's really worth continuing to study and pursue this path or should I just try another career. What are your thoughts about it?

Hi,
im relative new to the game and quickly found out (as somebody posted here somewhere) that this game is like "pay to play". I got 5 black boxes in the first ~50 levels, and you can only hold 5. I got no keys, and later found a 6th black box ... and dropped it.
Am i stupid, or? :D Its really sad that this game is like this. I put ~20€ in it (because i tought they deserve it) before i knew the "pay to play" taktics.
Actual question: does somebody know if the content of a black box is static on the specific box, or is it random at the time you open it?

Hi, not really sure if this is the right place for this questions but oh well.
I will soon be applying to university and I plan on applying for Law at Scottish universities (Edinburgh, Glasgow etc) and I have been trying to secure some work experience for my personal statement. I have the opportunity to do work experience with my uncle who is a lawyer abroad but I have been told that this is pointless because it will not be recognised in the UK/in my personal statement. Is this true? Should I just do it anyway??

Finally entering the math portion of my degree. I have not participated in math school wise since 2013. I never took anything over Algebra 2 in high-school. From what I've read they do not relate beside calculus in advanced stat class. should I take one before the other? Does it really matter.

2025.01.20 20:53 OK_Soda What events will trigger suspects to panic in a showdown?
I've been trying to figure out what will make the suspects flee and what won't. For example, I recently poisoned some food that a foodie kept going to, but some random NPC got to it first and died. The suspect saw the body and tried to flee for the exit.
In another level, a suspect was in a very crowded area and I shot him with a sniper rifle but it was the wrong guy. All the guards were alerted, suspects in the area adopted the cringing pose that NPCs do when there's danger, an assassin was alerted, but no lookout got alerted and eventually the body got dragged away and everything went back to normal.
In another level, I was spotted knocking someone out and about 10 guards instantly turned orange and headed for the balcony I was on, but I managed to change disguises before they got to me. No lookout was alerted and things went back to normal after a bit. I later knocked out someone else, and a suspect found the body and woke him up, they did a search, and then things went back to normal. Multiple bodies found, a crime witnessed, and the suspects all just went about their business.
So, what exactly triggers them to panic and what doesn't?

Hi everyone I was just wondering does anyone keep live locust/hoppers in there own enclosure? My daughter keeps getting them from pet store in the wee plastic tubs but they die after couple days, I thought maybe we could give them there own so I picked up a 25l aquarium for free that I thought we could use but is there anything specific to keeping them alive or even get them breeding?
