Hi guys! I am set to graduate a CS master in June and am currently looking for my first job, and have ended up with a dilemma.
My favourite part of programming is the creative and the problem solving aspect. While I am not really sure about exactly what I want to work with, I like more low-level languages (C++/C), and think hardware is super interesting (loved my computer architecture course e.g.). Because of this, I have been considering going into embedded software development -- I haven't tried it, but it sounds fun!
I have been applying to jobs and might now have two offers at hand, that I am massively struggling to choose between.
The first role is hardware verification engineer at arm. Arm is probably the only company I'm super excited about working at; I think the products are cool and from what I've heard, it seems like a great place to work at. Unfortunately, this year the selection of graduate roles available wasn't exactly what I had hoped for. While I haven't tried hardware verification, I know I don't really like testing -- I find it quite boring and uncreative, and it's probably at the bottom of roles I want to have within CS. The second role is an embedded software developer role for a car company, which is a role I am much more interested in, but for an application and at a company that I don't really care for.
I am really tempted to go for arm, even though the role does not sound very exciting -- it really is my dream company, and I'm thinking that I might be able to switch roles within the company after a couple of years, going into more of a developer role (embedded/modelling/compilers). However, my huge fear is that if I start in the testing track, I'll be stuck there since I'm not gaining experience in what I actually want to work in.
I would love some advice. Is it possible to switch tracks later? Is it a stupid risk to take, when I have a more interesting role lined up?

Does anyone know when there will be more languages added to glossika?
I am currently learning Iraqi Arabic and Neapolitan and those languages have scant resources available (as far as I can tell after ages researching)
I’ve used glossika in the past for Italian (standard) and Russian and have found it immensely useful.
Neapolitan I understand is very niche, but I am holding out hope for Iraqi as they already support Egyptian and Moroccan along with MSA.

 | Anyone here work at a dispo or know of one in or near GR that carries this specific product? I tried using weed maps and going to Mary's site to see if I can find a store that has the muscle freeze variety specifically. The closest dispo I could find on Weedmaps is in Muskegon. My SO told me weedmaps is notoriously unreliable, however, so there's a chance a store closer to GR carries it. I'd also settle for a different brand that has both the menthol freezing goodness with the cannabis benefits. This is one of my best methods for quickly alleviating migraine and TMJ pain, and I recently ran out, so I'm scrambling lol. I’ve been using the Atlas protein bars for a while and enjoy them a lot. But we are looking to expand our family, so I want to avoid the artificial sweeteners for a while, I’m including monk fruit in this, even though it’s considered more natural.
Is there any protein bar that: 1. Has at least 15 g of protein (I’m hoping closer to 20) 2. Is sweetened with actual sugar (or dates or coconut sugar) 3. Is not crazy high in calories?
