2025.01.20 20:50 Eightball007 Warranty parts backordered for new GE Washer - Any advice?
We put in a warranty claim for our new GE GFD65ESPVDS, and the repair company determined that it needs a new bearing. Apparently, this is a huge job replaces just about everything.
Unfortunately, the parts for this job are backordered, and we're well past Lowes' return window. GE hasn't indicated that they will reach out if the parts come in, nor have they indicated any closure to our claim.
Does anyone have any experience or insight as far as what to do/expect from this point? Do we just wait, or shall we submit another claim at a later date?
Also - I searched and saw a thread where someone threatened to go on social media, as well as another thread where someone talked to the Lowes store manager to get an out of window exchange. Are there any other ideas you guys know of along those lines that could potentially help?

Do I run the risk of supplying the incorrect voltage if I opt to use a cheap cable like this one for example? Should I just go with a Kondor or Neweer dtap to 2-pin plug to power my 4k? Is a cable just a cable? Also, should I use PD to 2-pin rather than d-tap to 2-pin? I'm using a v-mount battery as the power source, btw.

 | Hello. I am digitizing my family’s old home movies by putting them in a video camera and playing back to a video capture on my computer. Several tapes presented problems, this being one of them. The camera keeps spitting out the tape or not allowing me to rewind further. Upon inspection, the tape coming across the top is “dented / folded”, and the right part of the spool does not seem well wound. How would I fix this issue? Reviewing other posts on this reddit it seems that I must confirm that yes, I was born in 1997, this is my first time handling cassette tapes since I was 3, so I’m unfamiliar. The only way the phone could have known I’m at dentist is either the appointment reminder text or a 2-3 google searches I made on chrome about local anesthesia in the waiting room. Does chrome generate cookies or other records that Reddit app can read and generate ads on that basis?

She literally just posted an Ig story today. She said her house was burned down and someone photographed her when she evacuated. Some time later an article came out and said that she was enjoying lunch with her fiancé when really she was forced to evacuate to another neighborhood. That really sucks but at the end she made a comment about not trusting everything you read online and the media because it may not be true. That’s fine. However, I felt like fans would immediately use that to say that they don’t trust the media and discredit MJ’s victims which is what they are already doing in response to her video. My question is, why is Paris talking about “the media” now? I know she talked about it several years back when she was open about defending her “father” but since then she hasn’t said much of anything… until this year. I’m sure untrue things are always said about her, and I’m sure true things have been written too. I’m interested to see her response later this year when trailors for that biopic start releasing.

I've been watching a video on Instagram lately covering Vegas. He was pointing out how the new Resorts World is losing big time money every day (probably $1m). How Circus Circus is asking for an absurd amount and Caesar's is losing business (stock way down) because they forgot how to treat their guests (not like little Caesar's but as a commodity - overpriced goods).
We always stay at the Venetian because they take care of us and even the smallest rooms are large. But they sold their gaming business to MGM or Caesar's? and I couldnt even get a WATER while watching an NFL game last year with a Betting Ticket! 🤷♂️🙄 The bartender felt bad. No interest in visiting.
