2025.01.20 20:51 hassanallail Got to loop 150. The game takes too long to run. How can I make the loops go faster without side effects?
Hello,
I'm new to the game (45 hours in) and just got a 150 loop expedition. It took me around 10 hours of play time to get it. I almost died a few times and had to make the loops a little easier (removing tiles). I now want to go change my supply items and build so I left the expedition. The previous expedition (which got to loop 40-50) took 3 or so hours.
I love the game, and I'm trying to get to the highest loop count possible, but waiting is becoming a hassle. I leave my computer running for 30 minutes to an hour before hopping back in, adjusting gear / map, and then leaving it again.
Is there a way to speed up the game so that I can get to thousands of loops without spending months on the same expedition?
I saw other solutions where you change the game_speed variable, but those all have their own issues and the game becomes easier / harder depending on the build. I want the same game to run faster without side effects.

I’m 15.75m with a 37 inch inseam and roughly tanner stage 4
The VAST majority of men I know have legs significantly shorter than mine and my torso and head are pretty short (roughly 30 inches)… I have a total height of about 67 inches; or 5’7
My dad is about 5’9.5 and my mom is 5’5
I haven’t grown for about TWO years… and I was wondering if my proportions may be a clue that I’ll be 6’0 or above one day; or at least taller than 5’10… is it unlikely???? I know the average guy with my inseam is about 6’3-6’5… so I’m kind of disproportionate now…
I have uncles and older cousins above 6’0, most of the guys on my dad’s side are pretty tall. He’s the shortest

Ok so this is weird but here goes. I have brown Indian skin and my upper lip is darker than my lower lip. So lower lip is pink and upper is brown. I'm really self conscious about it so I try to put extra lipstick on the top lip to kinda even it out.
Here's my problem tho. Whenever I have to present something or do some public speaking (even if it's few people), I get really nervous. That's just me. However, every single time I'm nervous, my mouth area gets really hot. My lips feel dry (even if i just put Vaseline or something before) and it darkens. I'm not kidding. My upper lip turns almost black and my bottom lip gets realllly red. I don't put a lot of lipstick... Just a few dots and rub it around. So the redness in my lower lip is so obvious and embarrassing. I even try to quickly add more lipstick to the top lip at that time but it doesn't help in the least 😭
Is anyone else a victim of this strange and weird affliction?

Im a 20 year old kid messing around w recent memecoin stuff with no real experience. I made ≈250 on magamemecoin 5 minutes before it got rugged and know it was dumb and I was lucky to make it out. I put $1,000 into the official trump coin at $70 right after probably because I was feeling hyped but quickly watched it drop. I could have pulled out and been even after my previous profit but I didn’t and waited till the inauguration. Ended up selling at $40 for a $500 loss. I had multiple opportunities to sell at 50-60$ and basically not lose any money but didn’t.
I’ve done a degenerate play like this betting $500 on the election in November and lost it and told myself I wouldn’t do it again.
As a student with not that much money it’s disappoint but I able to realize it’s not the end of the world. I have not put in any money that I can’t afford to lose but feel that I have a problem. I see so many things online of people winning and am quite frankly looking for a quick way to make money, something I know isn’t realistic at all and should get out of my head.
I would just like some advice on how I can force myself not to make idiot moves like this in the future rather than just telling myself I won’t. I feel I’ve learned a lesson from these two experiences but I don’t know why I keep doing it. My long term savings are doing well and I feel I’m quite careful with it so I’m not sure why my impulsive decisions leave me like this.

AND THE NFL DOUBLED DOWN ON IT AFTER THE GAME! AND YOU WONDER WHY VIEWERSHIP NUMBERS ARE DOWN FROM 2023! (to play devil's advocate on the last point, 2023 had the highest viewership numbers in NFL history, so the shitty officiating this season might not be entirely to blame) The Chiefs are fully capable of winning games like this without outside assistance, but the zebras and the NFL continue to involve themselves anyways because money and views. In all fairness to the Rams, they handled it better than most warm weather teams. The punter played out of his god damn mind and even set the defense up for a safety. It was 16-15. Solid LA had a real chance...until Stafford had the ball literally slip out of his hand. But they only gave up a field goal. Still well within the game...and then Kyren Williams fucks the ball. But again, only a field goal. This can still be salvaged...but the offense goes three and out. The punter kicks yet another beauty...only for Saquon to run 78 yards to the house. From one point down to two scores behind. But the Rams don't give up. They march down the field and score a touchdown. All three timeouts remain, and it's before the two-minute warning. Nick Sirianni then goes full Sirianni on 2nd down, and the defense holds. The Rams begin their drive. They keep it going. Puka Nacua catches an absolute beauty. It's now 3rd and 3 in the red zone. *aaaaand nobody's blocking* *NOM NOM NOM* It was never meant to be. You know what would've helped? RUNNING THE BALL AT THAT MOMENT! Instead, you have to trek all the way back home...if it hasn't already burned to the ground.

The best version of this team, getting hot at the right moment, only to lose in absolutely devastating fashion. I'm not even going to blame Lamar, in spite of the two instances where he fucked the ball. I have a question for the defense. HOW THE FUCK DO YOU HOLD JOSH ALLEN TO LESS THAN 200 TOTAL YARDS AND STILL GIVE UP 27 POINTS?! EXPLAIN THAT TO ME! This was the hottest defense in football heading into the playoffs, and it wilted in the big moment. John Harbaugh still hasn't learned from his past mistakes on two-point conversions. Run Derrick Fucking Henry? OF COURSE NOT! THAT MAKES TOO MUCH SENSE! But even that is small fries compared to the real goat of this game. MARK ANDREWS! WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED HERE?!
