2025.01.20 17:51 Chithrai-Thirunal Anybody living in farmhouses after FIRE ?
I really want to live in a farmhouse. I have a few friends and we're setting up businesses left and right, most of these are little IT gigs. All of these jobs would mostly be work from home due to IT nature.
Now, let's be honest. Real estate in cities is costly. I want a house that at least has a backyard where i can grow plants, a house that does not kiss the neighbour's wall, and at least has a proper setback and is a little spacious.
You cannot have that in a city, unless you've inherited that much land. Or spend 1-1.5 Cr to buy such a land.
So, I thought, why not farmhouses? A quarter acre plot would be affordable, or at least I've seen 6000 sqft plots from like 18 lakhs some 50 kms from the Bangalore city centre.
Anybody who lives in farmhouses after FIRE? How's life? Or is there anybody who knows such a person? Any info is appreciated.

Hello. This is my first post on here. I guess im just here looking to someone to conversate with but this is the internet and that seems a little weird to me.
I am in a constant struggle of wanting to just kill my self. I want to say that i would never do it because of my wife and two kids, but i can help the fact that i am in a constant war against my self. I am currently deployed and am spending alot of time by my self which has made my thoughts alot louder. My chest constantly feels like im nervous and i spend most of the night thinking of how to just end it all.
I dont usually post anything on social media but i think im just using this as an escape to relieve some of my thoughts.

Naranasan mo na ba maghanap ng gamit mo at biglang lalabas nalang sa isang lugar na ilang beses mo ng chineck pero wala duon?
I know it is already time to rest and perhaps some of you nagpapaantok nalang dito sa Reddit. But dude, SKL no, 2 days ko ng hinahanap yung wristwatch ko na i'm pretty sure nilagay ko lang sa drawer ko. Binaliktad ko na ang bahay namin pero wala akong nakitang relo.
Just an hour ago, nakita ko yung wristwatch ko sa drawer ko. 😓 I swear to God ilang beses ko tinaob yun pero wala duon. Nagkatinginan kami ng asawa ko nung kinuha ko yung relo at pinakita ko sakanya.
Ako at ang asawa ko lang ang tao sa bahay. Walang bumisita samin.
(btw while I type this, nabura bigla una kong draft of post, di ko naman na cut or cancel 😶🌫️ kaya nakakaurat for the type na naman ako)
