Artists don't transmit emotion. They may feel emotion while creating their art and hope that those who see their art will also feel emotion. Emotion is deeply personal. What one feels while observing a piece of art is not what the artist put into it. It is what they get out of it. It is also not necessarily the same as everyone else who observes the same piece of art. What we get out of it is what makes it art to us, which is why even a duck taped banana can be considered art. That is why AI generations can be considered art by some. We should let people appreciate what they want and stop telling them that something they like isn't art because it is to them.

On October 30, 2020, just days before the U.S. presidential election, Milley reportedly told Li, his Chinese counterpart, "General Li, I want to assure you that the American government is stable and everything is going to be okay. We are not going to attack or conduct any kinetic operations against you." He further stated, "If we're going to attack, I'm going to call you ahead of time. It's not going to be a surprise."
This is textbook treason, for which the punishment is quite severe. Biden pardoning him when he committed clear and obvious treason against the United States as a sitting General makes him fully complicit. These people should be tried and prosecuted to the fullest extent that the law allows for this crime. We’ve been robbed of that justice by the outgoing administration.

2025.01.20 18:00 x-lana Community chats for one specific group i run has stopped working but my other groups chats are still running fine
i run a decent amount of groups but admittedly i have been restricted before and that has caused my own personal account to not be able to see community chats even for my own groups. however i have members of the group having similar issues suddenly and for no reason being unable to see chats now that they were able to see and use just hours prior. no settings have been changed or messed with. other mods and admins that did still have access no longer have the ability to send messages that actually go through and members seem to not be able to see the chats at all. i don't want to turn the setting off and have everything deleted and turn it back on for it to still not work but i was wondering if anyone has experienced this and was able to fix it or is this just the end of that groups chats for good until it hopefully starts working again on its own if it ever does?

2025.01.20 18:00 engineereddiscontent Are there any resources on how posture degrades? Or how something being tight or weak can then pull other parts of the chain into bad positioning?
I keep impinging my ankle every winter. I'm hoping to avoid doing this in the future.
It's coming from running. I'm assuming it's also coming from the increased amount of time I do sitting as the days get shorter headed into the fall and winter.
And what I mean is is there resources that kind of reverse from the end of the limbs into the core how a core posture problem can lead to the limbs getting injured if that makes sense?
Like I am in my 30's and also in school full time. This will end soon but it's not done yet. I'm assuming part of my issue is stemming from how I sit while in class. I have habits which are established and I don't know what to change without just breaking some other part of me so I'm hoping to react in a measured way so that I can fix myself.

 | This is a 10 day old piercing. It's either threadless or internally threaded (I got two piercings done that day so I mix up which is which) piercing grade titanium, a curved barbell. For aftercare, I keep it exposed as much as possible, clean with Neilmed and cotton buds twice a day. I searched the sub and saw that redness/bruising is to be expected in a few piercing - however the bruising showed up in the last few days, I didn't have it initially. Hi all! My friend and I are traveling to Paris in March for our university spring break trip. We will be in Paris for four days and then going to Florence to visit our study abroad friends. We have both travelled internationally before and I am not too worried about us getting around places. I have been to Paris before as well but I was 13 the last time I went and now 20. I am more just curious on if there is anything specific that would appeal to a demographic like us? I would be lying if I said that we didn't want to go to fun bars and explore the vintage shopping marts, but is there anything in Paris that would be disappointing for us to NOT visit? I mean things like cute shops, beautiful hidden streets, fun speakeasies, cafes, art galleries, public events like concerts, and all of those kinds of things? We want to try and avoid the super touristy spots and get more of an experience like a local would. If anybody has any spots that come into mind when I say all of this, please let me know! I am very excited for this trip and we are both so eager to go:)
