Hello everyone, I 18F and my mother 40F are currently on bad terms after an argument we had yesterday and I’m not speaking to her.
Just to give some quick background from ages 10-15 I was constantly bullied in school for a range of things from my appearance to handwriting. This has left me with extremely low self esteem/confidence and I have never told anyone about how it has affected me.
There are other factors that contributed to my mental health. I was a victim of SA from ages 12-14 on and off by the same man which I have also never told anyone. And just many other factors.
Although I have no diagnosis I’m almost certain I do have anxiety/social anxiety, plus I work in medical health area so I would know the signs of mental health problems. Anyways I was coming home from a shift today with a fellow co-worker and as she was dropping me off I opened up a bit about how I was feeling about work and my thoughts and she asked if I have anxiety and depression. I said no since I wasn’t diagnosed.
She then said I most likely do have it and I should see a counsellor. In my work place there is a free counsellor that is provided and she offered to send me her email to which I was happy about.
However once I got home I spoke to my mum about it hesitantly and she immediately got angry and asked “why the hell I would need a therapist”. I’m not good at saying how I feel to my mum I never have been as she never sees my side of things so it was hard telling her about the counsellor at all.
She says that “kids now days just self diagnose and make up mental health problems”. She also kept pressuring me to telll her what I said to my co-worker but I refused as I didn’t want to. She then got mad at me and told me to go ahead and do what I want.
By that time I was already upset as I don’t like arguments at all and I thought she would at least be supportive but she made me feel like crap. I told her I wouldn’t go at all and then she kept giving me sarcastic comments so I just stopped talking and left to my own room
I cried for a little bit but not a lot cos I didn’t want her to realise I was crying. Anyways ever since I haven’t really talked to her and just avoid her room or pretend I’m asleep. She’s put me down a lot through the years in terms of seeking out any form of mental health services.
She’s been talking non-stop to my family on loud speaker about how I’m being an attention seeker and that I’m lying about things. It has made me not want therapy anymore and I just have such a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. So should I try speaking to her again? Should I just seek therapy after I’m done with my university course? That was always gonna be the plan but it seems like my mental state is getting worse.
Sorry for the long post. Thanks to anyone who reads, even if you don’t this was nice to write down.

So, I really want to get my leg hair removed. I'm a 24yo male, but pretty on the trans spectrum. I don't like more traditionally masculine things usually, and body hair is my biggest per peeve for myself. I'm half Indian and half white, and my leg hair grows super dark and thick, plus I have pretty severe pili multigemini so I'll usually have a ton of hairs from one duct. I shave or wax sometimes, but I suck at waxing and shaving never gets me smooth. More importantly from those two complaints, because of the quick growing and multiple hairs, I get pretty bad ingrowns, and no prep methods I've tried have reduced them. Because my skin is light tan and my hair is very dark, on paper, I'm a perfect candidate for laser hair removal. I wouldn't even be too mad if it doesn't stick, as long as it reduces the hair volume. The issue is that I have six tattoos on one of my legs. It's enough that about 3/8s of my leg couldn't be lasered.
it'd really cut down on maintenance to get the other one lasered... but I'm afraid that it'll be weird. I've hated my leg hair for most of my life and I don't see that changing, but I just wanted to get some more opinions

Recently got the PSVR2. Love the gaming aspect. I wanted to try my Bluray movies and they look pretty good inside VR due to screen looking like 120" or so.
But, what's the deal with sound? I can't watch a Bluray movie with the sound through my atmos speakers via my AVR.
Sound only comes through the earbuds. Nothing I tried in the settings helped. Yet, I can get VR games to work on my speakers, just not my Bluray movies.
Anyone have the same issue?

Went through a couple mock drafts, and while of course they have their limitations, I found it interesting that Jeanty was available at our pick fairly often.
I know fans want the Cardinals to prioritize the d-line but I think Jeanty is a slam dunk pick at a position that we’ll likely need to address in 2026 when Conner will be 31 years old and won’t be a 3 down back.
A strong running game is absolutely essential to the functioning of our offense and getting a star to run in the next five years makes it so our personnel matches our timeline.
And look at how important running backs have become: Barkley, Henry, Gibbs, Jacobs have all taken their respective offenses to the next level. The Cardinals cannot afford to be without their own star RB.
