I wonder if anyone could share their experiences of EMDR? My psychologist has recommended it for processing trauma from growing up with a life threatening illness. I really want to do it but am very apprehensive that I won't be able to do it or that it'll be embarrassing and I'll feel stupid. Any advice or experiences would be appreciated!

I have had an L5-S1 disc hernia ever since I was active as a basketball player in my youth. Although a serious core, lower back and hamstring workout regime has made it more manageable I’ll still have massive flare ups happen during an intense squash match. I’ll say this happens 1-3 times a year and leaves me sidelined for 4-7 weeks each time.
I’m finding it tough to replicate the extreme explosiveness and sudden twists and turns that occurs in squash while at the gym. Anyone here who’s had similar problems and found a solution? Grateful for all tips

 | I think that it would have been an interesting parallel to see Eleven being found by the rest of the gang and trying to figure out how to proceed in saving Mike. There would also have been a lot of more clashes between El and Lucas than in the actual season. There would also have been a void in the group as to who is the leader and we could see some interesting dynamics between Nancy and the other children in their quest for finding him. How do you think this would have played out if the Demogorgon took him instead and what would have changed the most in the season. Here’s the fun part: during the investigation, I was called in for questioning. Years of bottled-up frustration finally boiled over, and I told them I personally saw him sending suspicious emails from my computer. Then I took it a step further and requested the cops to check my system. They did, and what do you know? They found a treasure trove of incriminating evidence. This idiot had used my computer to carry out his shady activities. The cops were thrilled, my aunts were furious, and I? I was finally free of years of bottled-up guilt.
Moral of the story? Family is great until they start using your Wi-Fi for criminal activities. Oh, and if you ever find yourself with a cousin like Osama, invest in a good lock for your computer.
