I got a first job on december 2024 as a lab technician in a local company for a 6 month contract with the possibility of hiring. I wonder if I should give up looking for a job in chemical engineering since I am leaving school with a GPA of 2.3 and without any internship. Or should I apply for internships or just settle for this lab job. Is there still hope for me for an engineering position?

I’m going to call my doctor today. I’ve finally discovered that Mirtazapine is causing weight gain. I didn’t put it together at first. This has been going on for probably 18 months. I even wasted A LOT of money on Ozempic & still couldn’t get the weight off.
If I don’t fall asleep right away after taking Mirtazapine, I get really hungry (kind of like the munchies) & I stuff my face. Usually with trail mix. Then the next morning, even if I eat breakfast, I start getting into my lunch at like 9am, and so on. I have woken up to a mess of trail mix all over the bed & even eaten protein bars while taking a shower 😄 This has got to stop.
Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions?

It's not even breakup or my ex anymore, I don't miss him at all, it's the consequences it left. It left me with major trust issues and I lost "friends" that didn't end up being real ones.
