Hello, my ex's and I'm story is pretty long so I'll try to keep it short
We broke up a year ago and have never been to the courts to file for custody. We are married, in the process of the first steps of the divorce but because he hasn't been served papers we need to do the child support/custody first in Family Court
This past year has been terrible. He has pretty bad anger issues and severe bipolar disorder. He was hospitalized for 2 weeks in the summer because he believed he was talking to God and was the next Messiah
He doesn't take his medication properly and I just never know when the next episode will be. I've tried this past year to give him the benefit of the doubt and get better but 2 weekends ago my son called me on his iPad and he snatched it away and proceeded to call me screaming his head off. He then refused to let me speak to our son for 24 hours and I got him back that following Sunday
My son (6) was physically scared of him after that and does not want anything to do with him. I filed the following Tuesday for a temporary Order of Protection. I got a full stay away order and a partial one for my son. The next day I filed for full custody and child support
I have always been the primary caretaker of our son. He doesn't really chip in for our sons after school or his summer camp last month. He doesn't show up for school activities or the summer camp activities. I take my son to the doctors alone most times and he doesn't ask for updates in regards to it
Basically, he doesn't do much. The courts, the sheriff, and a social worker have all advised me to keep my son for his safety instead of letting him go with his father on the weekends since he's so unpredictable and they're worried my son might get harmed in his care. I am perfectly fine with this arrangement and have told him about it
Our next court date is the end of March and since last week he's gone dark. I've updated him on our son every day so the courts know I am doing my best to continue to allow a relationship. He just ignored my messages. Won't even look at them
My main question is; for the next court date that discusses a permanent order of protection and custody, what do his odds look like? The Order of Protection is filed under the domestic violence section of family court and I have the recording of him screaming at me, text messages of the way he talks to me, me letting him know that our son expressed he was scared of him, etc. (Let's just say i have a lot of proof for the court should they ask any questions about the past year) I can't imagine a judge ever granting him anything besides supervised visitations (if he actually ever messages me again. I expect the silence to continue)
Thank you in advance for any help! This has all just been a lot and seeing my son physically be afraid of just his father being mentioned breaks my heart like no other

I got dumped on the 8th. He texted to see how I was the following Monday. Then he contacted me today to wish me luck at my new job.
It's all been very sterile and to the point conversation. After I said "thank you" he replied with "you're welcome" then spent the next few minutes where I could see he was typing something. He never sent it. It kept starting and stopping a few times.
That's all I just needed to get that out.

Ive heard others say you just need to listen to the music, others say its a political/social movement. Ive heard this especially about goth and punk too. “you can’t be conservative and be punk/metal/goth” ive heard a lot lately. All - I wanted to provide an update to my girlfriends AP process in a post-Trump admin.
She was allowed AP with visitation from 1/15 to late February. We immediately booked for 1/17 to CDMX. Given the rhetoric on Sunday we changed our flight to arrive Monday at 9:00PST - right as Trump was sworn in.
She waited about 3 hours in LAX. Upon talking to CBP she was taken into a room and her documents were processed. No questions asked - her AP forms were taken.
She was allowed entry around 12:30PST on 1/20.
I pray for all dreamers and their loved ones. I know these times are unpredictable, scary, and at times, hopeless. Know you all have a community and those in solidarity with you.
