I need a new couch. Budget $2000, ideally less.
Length should be 75”-95”.
I know my cats are gonna scratch the hell out of it and occasionally drag litter, poop, and/or vomit on it, so it would be ideal if the covers can be machine washed and also replaced with new ones as needed.
The new Floyd couch looked good but I saw the covers aren’t machine washable or replaceable.
I’m not opposed to IKEA (my current couch is ~9 years old and from IKEA. It’s very comfortable and I’ve replaced the slip cover 5 times). But then recently I saw how much cheaper the ikea products are in Europe and had negative thoughts about whether they are a good value at American prices.
Any advice? Thanks!

 | Getting a new super duty in a few weeks and am in between the 6.7 Powerstroke and the 6.2 gas. I have crunched some numbers below for fuel and maintenance costs based on 100k miles. Just looking for feedback on this math. I know I could probably settle with gas, but I want the diesel. Currently have an 05 6.0 F250 I’ll be towing a roughly 8300 lb camper through Washington state with frequent trips being through the mountains. Two trucks I’m looking at: 2021 F350 XLT 6.7 10spd 3.31 63k miles Certified gold warranty from ford $46,915 2022 F250 XLT 6.2 6spd 3.73 5k miles Certified gold warranty from ford $43,000 FUEL Calculating the 6.7 at 17mpg and the 6.2 at 12mpg. Per 100k miles 6.7 = $22,411 @ $3.81 per gallon 6.2 = $28,416 @ $3.41 per gallon MAINTENANCE 6.7 oil, filters, fuel filters, DEF = $5006 6.2 oil, filters = $1480 TRADE VALUE AFTER 100k miles for both taking an older year and adding 100k to each 6.7 @ 163k =$34,000 6.2 @ 105k =$28,000 Initial cost + maintenance + fuel after 100k miles of owner ship: 6.7 = $74,417 6.2 = $72,896 Obviously the 6.7 will have a better resale value than the 6.2. Without accounting for any other general maintenance, this seems accurate to me. I would also install the disaster kit and run additives on the 6.7 which adds maybe another 700$. I’m also not accounting for any emissions related costs on the 6.7. I know people who are over 200k with no emissions issues and on the stock CP4 Am I crazy for going with diesel with such a light trailer? I am a beginner (only like 7 classes so far), but the studio right by my apartment only has Evo 2 machines.
For those that have used both, which do you you prefer? What are the differences in use (other than the fact that the instructor changes your springs)? I scheduled a class at a different location under the same studio to try out the traditional machine and am curious for others experiences.

I have a bad relationship with my dad. I hate him, just being honest. He tries to have a good relationship with me but I just cannot forgive him for all the shit he has done in the past, and the fact that he still is just straight up a terrible person. He's been a drunk basically his whole life and all of my life, though he's been sober now for about a year. I give him credit for that. But it doesn't take away from all the shit he's put me through. He's incredibly narcissistic, he literally thinks the world revolves around him and always has to be the center of attention. And he thinks just because he's sober now or whatever, that he can try to have a good relationship with me. Screw that, he's lucky I'm still even in his life because I'd much rather live without ever having to speak to or see him again.
As for my mom, I love her and have a great relationship with her. But she sometimes drives me nuts with how she'll side with him at times or not see how wrong he is. It really is some form of Berlin syndrome because he was such a piece of shit to her for so many years, and while he's a bit better towards her now, she is not treated the way she should be at all for all she does for him.
I literally cannot stand being around him. He is so incredibly selfish and just straight up miserable that he has to make everyone around him miserable. I pray to God that when I'm a father and husband, that I will be nothing like him. Luckily, I think I'll be moving out in a few months because I just cannot stand it anymore for my mental well-being. Just had to rant a bit because he's been especially pissing me off lately.

Bought both games yesterday and the dlc for the second game already today cause I’m loving this game so much already. I’m having trouble with this one area though. “Convent of our lady of the charred visage” what a mouthful btw lmao. These ghost enemies that shoot you and teleport are really really messing me up. I can’t find any reliable method of dealing with them other than just taking cover behind a platform/wall and hitting them once every time they stop shooting. But that method takes a while and it feels a little cheesy to me so I feel like there has to be a better way right? Any tips would be appreciated.
