I literally despise and hate my bf’s friend. And no, it isn’t just a hate some girlfriends have because they want to spend more time with their bf. And it’s a dude. This guy is an absolute jerk that’s just so full of himself. Apparently they’ve known each other for 14 years and they’re childhood friends. My bf said that they had a lot in common in their childhood and they became different people but they never stopped being friends. I understand that because that’s what I had with my best friend also but this guy is a master manipulator and a narcissist. This guy cheated on his girl SEVERAL times and my bf was aware of that smh, every time I asked him why he never even judged him, he said “that’s his life.” Until I overheard their conversation of them bashing on his gf for getting with a guy right after she found out about all the cheating. This made me question my bf and I also stepped in saying that she did the right thing. His friend is calling him fat jokingly after he gained a little weight which made him healthy weight, because he used to be skinny. But this guy made fun of him and he’s always always talking about how a “real” man should be. Which makes me wanna throw up because this guy is nothing but a real man. He is convinced that every girl will be willing to f with him because he’s so good-looking. But he’s not masculine one bit and him thinking that he’s a real man it gives me an actual ick. Just so you understand he’s a definition of talking and not doing anything. This guy always brags about how you should earn more money and how easy it is to become rich and he doesn’t even have 200$ in his savings. My bf is literally bringing up his words in our conversations as if they’re smart. He was convincing me for 3 months how that guy will improve his financial situation significantly after moving countries and I predicted everything that happened to him since. 1. He didn’t earn anything 2. He has 0 financial knowledge 3. He didn’t even take expenses into consideration
He absolutely ruined my bf’s self esteem over the years of that friendship, to the point where he doesn’t notice being manipulated anymore. I remember my bf telling me how I probably would rather date his guy friend because of how good looking he is and I legit laughed to his face after meeting him. When my bf buying a car last year my bf wanted to get a fuel efficient smaller vehicle, and I was down for it. Don’t get him wrong, him and I are really into cars but we have common sense and this car was for his 15 minute commute to work. Until his idiot friend said that “A real man would never buy a car like this, buy a full sized sedan. A real man should have a real car” Mind you this guy is driving a beat up 1000€ 97 Mercedes he got off a local auction because he was so broke he couldn’t afford anything else and the only reason why he got a Benz was because of a brand. So my bf started overthinking about what other dudes at work and my dad will think about him and no matter what I said he wouldn’t change his mind. (He ended up buying a V6 2013 sedan afterwards) The expenses sky-rocketed since. My bf is earning more than him and one time they were arguing he literally told him how my bf is stupid because he doesn’t have his own opinion at work and does everything his boss tells him like a dog. Would a friend that doesn’t envy you say this? He doesn’t call my bf often because he’s out partying or drinking every day. Or just too busy sleeping after work but my bf’s trying to make time for him every time he calls. Not only that but my bf and I, were playing video games with this dude and his other friend. He literally flipped me off durning our gaming session. My bf did talk to his friend about it but it still doesn’t make the situation any better. He came up with a lame excuse of it being a joke but you gotta be a real jerk to do it to a person you don’t know. Especially if it’s your best friend’s s/o. And before y’all say this, we did talk and I did tell my bf about how I think his friend’s using him but he doesn’t think so. He’s convincing me otherwise but his friend admitted to him using the other guy that he actually hates just to get a good job.

I’m planning to travel from Edinburgh to Durham via a transfer at Newcastle on TPE’s Nova 1 fleet. My journey starts on 1410 this Friday and out of curiosity I checked the Seatfrog bidding option for first class between Edinburgh and Newcastle, currently at £8+£3 for admin fees. I’ve got the ticket for £7.15 for the leg from Edinburgh to Newcastle and I’ve checked the menu and I found it pretty satisfying to be honest. Do you guys reckon this upgrade is a good choice?

Hi, can’t get in touch with my girlfriend’s insurance as they’re closed.
I have a question. I have 2 cars, but only one is insured on my main insurance. My parter also has a separate car on another policy.
My main car is currently off the road but I want to keep it in insured. Now, it’s cheaper for me to temporarily add my other car I’m going to use on my partners policy for x amount of days than it is to add it to mine.
I’m just wondering if it’s legal for her to drive her car on her policy and for me to drive mine as a temporary car on her policy at the same time too? (I am a named driver on her policy)
