Live by myself, I enjoy painting and creating Playing videos games and most of all spending time with my daughter!
I snowboard as a pass time, really independent and honestly want something serious. I'm looking for a partner and don't jump into anything really.
I work full time and when I'm not at work I'm doing something productive!
Sundays are for RR watching a movie, quality time, binding time is very important.

2025.01.20 22:30 throwawayfemimist Bilateral DCIS? Is that a thing?
Recently diagnosed DCIS in the right, estrogen positive. I’m pending results of genetic testing done last Friday. I had an MRI done to help the docs with mapping should I choose a lumpectomy.
Instead, there’s a grouping of calcifications on my LEFt breast that now looks sketchy. They’re recommending biopsy.
I have a bad feeling. What is the probability that I have “non invasive” breast cancer in both breasts that just happens to develop independently? Or am I right in feeling that it’s more likely invasive or metastasized?
Good thing I was leaning towards DMX already.

This past week, I was having a casual conversation with coworkers, and they asked me where I was going for my upcoming vacation. I just told them I’ll be going to China to visit relatives, sightseeing, eat good food, etc. I basically just told them the usual things people do when they’re on vacation.
Once they heard China, they started asking all kinds of questions like if it’s safe there, if it’s okay to go there, if authority gives me any trouble, whether the people there really do live so poorly, etc. One of the older ladies even asked me if I was visiting the Communist side or the other side, and said she wasn’t sure what China was like and if it’s like how there’s North Korea and South Korea?? I was absolutely shocked and a bit irritated. I thought maybe it was me overreacting but other coworkers who were present also had a surprised look on their face.
For other coworkers, they talk about their own vacations and I’ve never heard other coworkers only bring up the country’s negatives or controversies. When I answered their questions and said it’s not 100% the same as what they’ve heard, one of my coworkers gave me a look as if she didn’t believe that.
I know China tends to be a topic that doesn’t have the most positive opinions, but it sucked to be asked those questions without any of them pausing to think if it’s okay to ask. This especially because I actually hold China very dear to my heart since it’s where my family comes from and where my relatives still live. I’ve always had positive memories whenever I went back to visit. I also think it’d be unfortunate if everyone had to attach controversies and negatives (and it was non-stop talked about) to any place they love.

2025.01.20 22:30 The_Khaos_Theory Got a weird voicemail late at night from a hidden number
Last night at about 11:15pm we got a phone call on our landline, which is already pretty strange because we only really use that number for doctors and other appointments anymore. I assumed it was a family emergency since I couldn’t think of anyone else who would call at that hour, but I still missed the call and it went to voicemail. The voicemail is a woman’s voice, almost crying, saying “hello, it’s me” with a lot of static. Nobody in my family recognizes the voice and we don’t have a callback number as it was hidden.
Is this a known scam of some kind, or has anyone heard of something similar happening before? It really creeped me out and I had a hard time getting to sleep after
