Hello everyone. My hallway lights have stopped working. There are two fixtures and two light switches, one on either end of the hallway working as a three way switch I believe. I pulled one of the fixtures down, and noticed it wasn't grounded and doesn't look like it ever has been. The unit was remodeled in 2008. I'm looking for help on trying to get them working again. 2025.01.20 23:09 Specialist-Cod5557 Figuring out if I want to do Mechanical Design long-term
I'm working currently as a mechanical design engineer but my background is in Biomedical Engineering. I don't hate it, but I don't particularly thrive off the continuous problem-solving/prototyping and would rather be working more in manufacturing or something hands-on like field service.
Has anyone stayed in mechanical design and enjoyed it more, or made the decision to switch early on? It's been roughly a year and half for me, however my current gig is a start-up with obviously much more design that an established company.
