Does anyone here have any stories theyd like to share about going back to a loved one with bpd after an extended period of time. That could be a significant other, family member, friend. I havent spoken to my sister in over two years and i still feel incredibily guilty. She has two kids who i love and miss so much. For a while i was able to see them sometimes but recently shes just completely forbidden me from seeing them. She says if i cant have a relationship with her i cant have a relationship with her kids.
I hate that the kids are trapped in the middle of this and i know theyre so confused. When i think about opening up communication with her again i get so nervous and feel so sick. Ive gotten these long accustory texts in the past saying what a piece of shit i am and how much she hates me and how useless i am. When i tried to talk to her last time she screamed at me for two hours about how everything that went wrong in our relatjonship was my fault and she only acted the way she did because i forced her to.
I spent the last two years distancing myself from her in order to protect myself, but i feel like the biggest I'm piece of shit because I’m not there for her kids. On the flip side of that i also hate the fact that im a trigger for their mother, i don’t want them to think of me in that way, like when their aunt comes around they know their moms going to lose her shit.
Anyway, I’m thinking about maybe opening up some communication, but it feels futile. Has anyone ever had a positive reaction when you try to speak with them and mend relationships? Im not great with boundaries, but i try and when i put up boundaries that really makes her lose it.

Long short story. He has a best friend that he had crush on before. They are like “siblings” now. Before we got together he told me that she was his crush but because it never worked out. Either she or him was in relationship when other one was single. They decided to just stay friends. Last month they got in touch with each other again and from that time he started to act cool, “avoiding” me, he ignored my messages for hours (he was active on other social medias). When I ask him if everything is okay he says that there is nothing wrong but his actions are showing something else. I tried to talk with him if there is something going on again but he is “feeling unwell so he can’t think right” but he ensures me that there is nothing wrong. I was talking with their friend and he always suspected that there was something between them because how they acted with each other (he didn’t know they had crush on each other but suspected for many years). She has a boyfriend but when I met her on friends gathering, the way she looked at him and he at her was something more than friend. I just don’t know what to do and I am afraid to ask about the same thing once again but something changed between us. He became so distant, we rarely see each other because he has been sick for the past 4 week (also seems suspicious for me). I just want this over honesty but I still love him for the way he was before but I don’t know if I can bring that again. I am just feeling unwell of this whole situation because I can’t get any answers and I feel like I am doing something wrong when I ask him if everything is alright. I can’t bring myself to break up with him even I am so done with this situation and still have feelings for him. Am I hypocrite for thinking this situation will resolve and everything will be back to normal?

I have a Google Pixel 7a that I've had since November of 2023. I have a phone case and a screen protector that has saved it through quite a few mild drops. There was no physical damage (at least what I could see on the exterior) and I never experienced any functionality issues. This morning my son spilled a glass of water on my phone and it was submerged for maybe 3 seconds. I immediately removed the case and set the phone on a towel. It will not turn on now. My phone was on about 80% charge and I could hear some notifications but the screen was completely dark. I've had my phone wrapped loosely in a paper towel in a bag of rice for about 6 hours now and still nothing. I've never experienced a phone being less water-resistant and I'm worried it's done for. How do I have my phone fixed quickly? I'm continuing to let it dry out but unsure what my next step would be. Has anyone had experience with water damage and brought it into a Google retail store to be repaired?

Last month I came across a post here about a gardening kit that comes with a bunch of uncommon seeds and a book with recipes for herbal remedies that can be made from the plants. I thought it'd make a cool addition to my garden this year and the fact that it's made by Nicole who was on season 2 and 4 of the show Alone sold me even further because I love that show.
I can't find the original post but I want to thank them for sharing and tell anyone who was on the fence to go for it. I've planted everything so I'll share updates and photos of my garden as it grows in the comments of this post. The book written by Nicole goes over everything you can make with the plants from ointments and teas all the way to essential oils and infusions. These plants are not something you'd find in a normal store so they make for a unique addition to your garden.

Today, January 20, 2024, Trump’s inauguration day, the headlines massively read that Elon Musk Nazi saluted.
You can definitely criticize the motion. It is… Unfortunate muscle movement. But, that is all it is. You can clearly see him pound his chest and extend his arm out to the crowd. Most clips stop there. There is a reason. He clearly states “My heart goes out to all of you.”
Like I said, unfortunate muscle movement, but stating it is a salute is laughable.

hi everyone. i am new to sewing and really enjoy it but i really struggle with understanding the geometry of patterns and why they work the way they do. on top of that i don't have a lot of money for printing and no reliable access to a printer. i am looking for small projects to try that don't require a pattern or that i can draft myself that might help me to understand the geometry aspect of sewing better. should i just take apart and reconstruct stuff i already own? or is there a way to take measurements that i can then use to translate to my own pattern? maybe i just need more practice but i wondered if any other former beginners have tips. i really appreciate the help!

I need some help placing some rail signals, the ss depicts 2 trains taking 2 diff lines which intersect. I have used coloured lines to help yourself figure out where the trains go. I have messed around a bit with chain signals and rail signals however they always say they cannot find their path to the destination. No matter how much Trupen I watch, this info does not stick inside my brain. Without this being automated the factory cannot grow. Help....

I've a PDF file of a box packaging (dieline) that I wanted to edit in illustrator. I'm a beginner so I have no idea how to use that but I'm super good in Photoshop.
Now to my best understanding the file has a one parent layer which is the main box packaging (dieline) as a template
And then 80 different linked files connected to that parent layer (differences in the names, barcodes, and side texts)
I mainly wanted to edit the parent file (adjust the dieline) lenghts in millimeters mainly and Hit save so the changes reflect in the other 80files that linked to that parent file.
I'm not sure how do I access that parent file it's just not there when I opened the PDF in illustrator where is that and how do I make this change.

Why is this allowed in providence? I know damn well even the old school religious Italian Catholics would know if they played Catholic hymns in an uber that it would be inappropriate.
I am confident as a gay guy I like wearing makeup it’s really nothing I ever think twice about. But in that setting knowing damn well I was clockable as gay to be stuck in the car with this bullshit playing I was beyond uncomfortable, felt trapped and LIVID. incrementally feeling more and more like a neocon because gay people need to feel safe and TOLERATING THIS IS NOT THE WAY.
As democrats we need to address this before the republicans do because it shouldn’t become a partisan matter and if republicans are the only ones who address it the fallout will affect the Latinos and Brazilians and other immigrants who are kind, welcoming and positive contributors to our city and don’t bring in with them religious homophobia.
Anywho, if this happened to me I’m sure others have experienced it. I urge you to report and rate 1 stars every time this happens and contact uber until they change their policies or ban the respective drivers. There is really no reason for anyone to be imposing their religious music onto paying customers who did not sign up for any of that… especially when the religious music is coming from the most actively homophobic and dangerous religion in our modern world.
